Multi-Function Digital Weather Projection Wake-Up Alarm Clock, LED Backlight, Temperature & Calendar Display Buyer Reviews

I was looking for a cool timer touchtone phone logic timer to put in my room. I was soooo excited to find this one. When it at home i was very sad to see that:1- The cover does not stay lit up2- it does not contain a potential cable3- by "Calenar Sight" they mean the day of the week, not that here is in fact a calendar4- the projected time only uses 24h format5- the projected time is backwards6- the hegemony buttons were on the back and hard to useHowever, i did like that:1- the projector is super high feature and looks great2- it has a stand3-the timer touchtone phone logic will beyond doubt wake you up (its sweet grating, but in a good way)over all i wish that i did not buy this manufactured goods. Not value the cash.
- ChaCha

The directions are hard to be with you. Hard to get set, I never did. I will never buy whatever thing from this vendor again. I just all almost hate it. Not what I probable at all. .Then have to buy break adapter is a rip off
- Linda Seale

I in detail don't want this timer to be inflicted with any stars. I bought this timer to aid my teens pro vacant to teach. I had to produce them my timer and take this pro for myself. It is appalling. This timer visage pledge is too low. There are no in rank to chat it early 24 hours. Flush if, I'm a mom and can take think it over of a pin decline, the timer radio is too gentle pro the teens to take think it over of it and in detail wake-up to turn off. I really mediate I over compensated since it must be inflicted with been a $5.00 item. If not anything else, the only skilled I can say in this vicinity is... you can get behind the nite light to think it over the time on the ceiling... it is a timer!
- Amazon Prime - Angeletha

Other assessor observations are on the cash. I presume including the intention of including an AC potential source the product force in detail machinate and bring about, keep for on battery it's worthless. And here are no sources for a apposite AC source (not full) or in rank in this vicinity promote mass, and including the intention of.Bombard out extra and get on to extra. Move quietly away this lone over.
- Frequent Traveler

Apparently, the reviewers who wrote negative reviews for this product do not read descriptions before they purchase harvest, nor do they read the instruction "manuals."Common complaints about this product include 1) The display doesn't stay lit all of the time; 2) It doesn't include a power adapter; 3) The display is single in 24-hour format. To rebuff these complaints, I would like to point made known that the timer is advertised as 1) "To save energy, the projection will last for 3 second and be off after you press on the button at the top of the timer"; 2) "If you want to keep the LED backlight permanently on, you need a DC 4.5V charger adapter (which is NOT included) as power supply" - power supplies are often "not included" garnishing with many harvest - why this is a surprise is beyond me; 3) It is CLEARLY stated in the instruction "sheet" that the time format can be altered starting 12- to 24-hour format by pressing the UP button.Currently for REAL complaints, and these are more like minor annoyances: 1) The instruction "manual" is nothing more than an instruction "sheet"; 2) The power supply said to be required is a 4.5v supply - there doesn't grow to be a valve in the clocks circuit, as when I applied a 4.5v power supply, the display was overdriven. Using a 3vdc supply was more than sufficient. Your mileage may vary.Aside starting these minor points, I would display that this is a great little timer. It tells the time (like all good clocks should); it in cooperation displays said time on it's LCD display as well as on the ceiling; it displays the current humidity and temperature; it keeps a running history of past humidity and temperature; and it uses this information to "predict" near-future weather. For $10-15 bucks, what more do you want?If you are semi way intelligent, ignore the negative reviews and give this little timer a try. You will be pleasantly bowled over.
- Derek Tombrello

It may maybe be skilled but here is no power additional then batteries. Doesn't project except you hit a pin. I wouldn't buy it ended again.
- August Short

Didn't come with adapter cable to promote in to wall. Display don't adjust. Took over a month to be shipped. Despondent.
- Elizabeth Emmer

This product is complete junk. It is a dissipate of plastic. alarm clock itself doesnt stay set, the screen only lights up for 4 seconds before disappearing making it impossible to do anything on the alarm clock. Tried using it for one night and the alarm did not even go off. Trying to return this product is a nightmare too, you have to go back and forth with the seller via e-mail for over a week before they approve your refund and then you have to mail it back to them with your own money and your own packaging and the refund is not processed until the wrap is received. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! WILL NOT USE THIS SELLER AGAIN! WILL NEVER BUY A PRODUCT FROM THIS MANUFACTURER AGAIN!
- Duke

The vendor was extremely responsive including return. The clock was a total garbage. It did not work and there were no ac adapters. This piece should be discontinued from amazon. The clocks and ac adapters cost me almost $40 in returns.
- Clock

I was extremely disappointed including the intention of it did not scheme continuosly. Ichecked on sending them in trade and the companionship I purchased from would not pay for the return postage The return for me was extremely near as greatly as I compensated for them so I modest them I am extremely disappointed in the companionship

Note: The projection space is 1~5 meters, and it is depends on the light in the room. To save energy, the projection will last for 3 following and be off after you press on the pin at the top of the clock. If you want to keep the LED backlight everlastingly on, you need a DC 4.5V charger adapter (which is NOT built-in) as power give.

GPX C389B Clock Radio with Intelli Set Auto Clock Set Reviews

The sound feature is worse than that of radios I owned in the 1940s, tinny and raspy. The compulsory time finder did not work. The backing array does not work. After one day, the digital sight to batter between AM, PM and aux, disastrous and gives jabber font. It was trying to map out out to chat the time and station. I am throwing the thing away.
- Norma J. Greenfield

This timer serves it's function adequately ample, even if the top and position of all persons buttons is gone. Most broadcast get to out and turn off their timer touchtone phone logic in the dark. It is tiresome to find the off pin. You have to feel your way almost the top of the unit. The "Off" pin must have been more protruding or pronounced or positioned everyplace else not to be baffled with all the additional buttons next to it.
- Cher

The pros: The time car fit function works better than I probable. The con: The sound is appalling. The speaker is tinny and lacks any sort of warm tones. I bought it specifically pro the line-in function and the sound starting the radio and starting an mp3 was appalling.put on't approve of it.
- The Reading Bear

My goal was to discover a important clock telephone logic including a digital tuner so including the intention of I could maybe in detail wake up to my fav telephone logic rank which does not be inflicted including the strongest signal. Including my old telephone logic I would regularly wake up to static due to shifts in the craft's mast or for reasons unbeknownst to me. I'm extremely fortunate including this piece. It's not the most excellent made known here I'm sure, keep for it serves the purpose and I'm being compensated used to the different locations of the buttons. Mind me as a satisfied customer :)
- Julie

This is the most low-priced timer telephone logic timer with a digital telephone logic tuner and an compulsory time set that I could find. Both of persons facial appearance work well. Disparate the manufactured goods photo, the sight is red. The trace of the timer is tiny, and the digits are about 3 inches in a roundabout way. You can set two timer telephone logic times. I've found that the timer telephone logic stops inane off after striking doze over and over again for an hour. It's two hours on some other timer telephone logic clocks. That may not theme for some persons, but it's not a in tears that's typically listed in manufactured goods similes. The signal is harsh and is what you would estimate from a tiny, low-priced timer telephone logic timer. For that wits, the at the bottom of audio input is a attention-grabber, because you wouldn't in fact want to take note to music using this. Even if, I'd soothe urge this timer telephone logic due to the digital telephone logic tuner and compulsory time set.
- Steve Collins

I was looking for a upset small for the bathroom. This telephone logic's dimensions are slim sufficient that it fits nicely on the self by the mirror...in anticipation of you plug it in.Cons:The power thread jack is in in trade so it makes the dimension about 3/4" wider than planned. The battery in trade-up (supposedly included) didn't bring about, I've had to reset the time 2x in 1 week due to power 'bumps'The car time zone setting is so far off I'm not even guaranteed what it's suppose to be trackingThe volume control for the telephone logic won't go low sufficient and as far as I can tell volume #'s 1-4 have no differenceThe telephone logic station pre-fit is difficult to plan and unituitive. I've had to reset the stations 2x due to the above mentioned power 'bumps'The release road to refrain in the stations is to aid the scan button which means you have to press and hold the button a few seconds, the telephone logic scans to the next station, stops, you press and hold the button, etc.. Very frustrating!Underside line: even planning it's release $15 it's not worth it.
- Denise Pokrywka "online shopping queen"

A very important timer touchtone phone logic that I purchased for the bathroom consequential that overtime the steam will get to it and ruin it. The digital affect is in fact red. The intelliset auto sets the time lacking fail so far - we house of safeguard't had daylight savings time yet. The lecturer signal is super important. It is nice to have presets on the touchtone phone logic channels so that in the daylight when my eyes are barely open, I can toggle owing to a few stations basically. I reflect for my desires the item is splendid.
- massfive

Ordered this timer telephone system in view of the fact that my timer telephone system died. I have been looking for a timer telephone system with digital tuning for quite a while, but they were all high end units costing $100 or more usually. So, when I saw this telephone system I gave it a try.The directions are not very apparent, but I figured out how to set the alarm time after much frustration. The 4 way rocker thrash on the left when held down right or left turns on the alarm set and the hours and minutes are set by the right 4 way rocker by pressing up or down. Turn alarm 1 or 2 with the buttons on top.You have to tune and set the presets. You have 10 for FM and 10 for AM. Tuning is apparent and crisp. Even if I did have to reset the stations after unplugging and relocating to dresser. I exchange the back-up array but not sure if the back-up saves telephone system presets.Itelliset is "un-itelli-joke". It uses a thrash to change manually DST. And then shifts hour by one for each time zone. The alarm "gentle wake" is a really great feature. The number starts off low and gradually gets louder. The only complaint is that it goes to maximum number if you don't hit doze, there is no way to set a maximum number. It would be nice to have point buttons instead of using left rocker thrash to step through presets, but at this price cannot complain about that.It would have also been better if the potential plug were right angled but it is honest and hits my dresser's back stop. All in all, its a nice little, literially small, alarm timer for a bargain with digital tuning. I would urge this alarm timer.
- E. Estrada "Single Dad of 4"

Small size is a plus for forceful spaces. Big facts are straightforward to see. Digital tuning is water supply-located. Doesn't have "take a nap" button which lets the telephone logic play for a time before turning itself off. Buck sound setting could be too loud. Sound doesn't go all the road down to whisper. Has AC adapter rather than go on of the mill thread.
- radiophile

This timer touchtone phone logic timer has 3 buttons on the gone, Lone of these buttons is the on bitter pin. It is a terrible conspire to be inflicted including them so accurate. also as the timer touchtone phone logic goes bitter the number increases in anticipation of you get behind the fit pin.

Tivoli Audio M3SLC Model Three AM/FM Clock Radio (Cherry/Silver) Purchaser Review

Very nice signal when compared to other clock radios at the same price array. The tuner has so much drift, however, that I generally wake to static. I live in a big city area with very strong FM radio signals. Don't buy this except they drop the price at least $100.00.
- Roger L. Boone Jr.

Emerson SmartSet Clock Radio With Dual Alarms And Digital Frequency Customer Reviews

Emerson SmartSet Clock Radio With Dual Alarms And Digital Frequency Customer ReviewsI WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS A FIVE STAR RATING, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT IF YOU PLUG THE RADIO INTO AN OUTLET BY THE BED THAT IS CONTROLLED BY THE SWITCH THAT TURNS THE BEDROOM LIGHT ON AND OFF, THE RADIO WILL ALSO BE TURNED ON AND OFF.THEREFORE IN ORDER TO KEEP THE RADIO ALL DAY AND NIGHT YOU HAVE TO PLUG IT INTO ANOTHER OUTLET. I HAD TO USE TWO EXTENSION CORDS TO PLUG RADIO TO AN OUTLET ON OTHER SIDE OF ROOM
- Anne Mahoney "CAT LOVER"

Emerson SmartSet CKS1855 - Timer radio -- Purchased two....need to house the radio where it doesn't remain static-y....Good choice, easy, convenient
- K. B. Dillon

put on't confuse this with "atomic clocks" that use a radio signal to fit themselves. As far as I can figure out, this simply runs off a array-backed-up clock chip, be fond of you'd discover in a wrist watch. You may need to fit it once out of the amount if you got it through gray promote channels. However, once you get over that, it works great. The in trade-up array should last 5 years or extra. I be inflicted with never establish an "atomic clock" that was AC powered and had a spectacle you may possibly see in the foggy, so I was joyful to discover this, even though it is not "atomic". I live in an vicinity with normal potential glitches, and an older 'clock radio' needed to be inflicted with the time fit at least once a month. This solved the conundrum completely, so I can live with the misleading marketing.I had a additional model starting this company, with desolate digits, and it was older so it did not exchange pro Daylight Savings Time accurately. I can tell you that all wrong with that lone is OK in this model.
- Jerry Loyd

I ordered this alarm clock with seeing it on QVC. The feature with the intention of sold me was it is suppose to auto set the time and appointment.. well in theory with the intention of would be nice if the clock actually did with the intention of! I let the clock sit for three days and the clock never set itself, so I had to set the clock and appointment not a super big deal keep for if your company is going to taut this feature it should work! The neat part of this alarm clock is with the intention of the alarm will still go off for the set time if the power goes off! No more staying up or nerve-racking during storms, your alarm will always go off so ling as you the battery! There is a despondent battery indicator on the alarm clock too so you recognize when you need to change it. Be warned however with the intention of I did have to restore the initially two alarm clocks because the initially one the telephone system would not turn off, and the second alarm clock I could possibly not set the clock. The third one seems to be effective fine.
- V. Cummings "victorc1978"

There were no reviews so I'll enter a short one. I looked-for an Clock radio clock to wake me up at 6:00am each morning to pocket my meds, it was important. Trial including trial disastrous me in anticipation of I establish this one.You can set two separate alarms or use the radio as an clock radio. You can also let the radio play in anticipation of you fall sleeping. All clock radio signal lasts for one hour and is reasonably loud. The release problem I have is in diplomacy to set the hour, you have to fast forward through the seconds, it takes a little. I fancy it had separate buttons to set the following and the hour. The numbers are pretty big and it shows the day of the week and whether or not the clock radio(s) is on. Don't agonize in this vicinity the new DST, this one sets everything just fair. It takes a lot to wake me up, so if your no matter what thing like me, I think you'll like it.
- Sodapop

Purchased this clock about three years ago and I was very happy with it. I liked that the alarm was very loud and it was cool how it would auto set the date and time. Fast forwards to three years later...the alarm is so quiet I end up sleeping through it. The auto date time is not effective either. After losing power, the clock set itself to January 1st, 12pm. It was in fact Distinguished 8th, 10 am. Reset the time date manually only to have to clock speed up another hour when 12pm really came almost. The array life is not great either. The indicator light is blinking by now. Think I will toss the whole thing when it dies
- iambeckey

Two reasons why I love this alarm clock, #1-It starts of slow when the alarm goes off and #2-It sets itself if the light go out. We've gone throught a link black outs and well couldnt blame it on the alarm not going off.
- J. Jones "Roukeii"

Very dependable and spectacle is easy to read, even in the sun. I have three (3) of these all over my house.

Sony 2 Band Receiver Portable AM & FM Transistor Radio with Large Dial Panel, 3.75" Speaker, Earphone Jack, Carry Strap, Easy Tuner Knob, Headphone Jack & Telescopic Ferrite Bar Swivel Antenna - Battery Powered - Batteries Included Buyer Review

I bought this radio to exchange a cheap one we had that was terrible at alternative up stations. This one is much best. It gets all our locals very plainly and lots of others. You do have to move it almost a bit to get the AM stations plainly. It's nice that the batteries were built-in since it runs on D batteries which I ordinarily don't have almost. I'm not crazy about the strap, a soubriquet would've been best but it's not a big deal. And I guess I didn't grasp it doesn't have a power cord and only runs on batteries. For us, that's fine even if since I actually only use it when the power is out. By and large, I like it and would urge it.

DBTech Time Sphere - Stylish Big Digital LED Clock with Circling LED second indicator - Round Shape (10" / Red LED) Buyer Reviews

Works but too bright for a bedroom. The dim button does not "dim" the light enough for a pleasant environment in a bedroom
- John Dustman

Great manufactured goods! I would just like to be able to power brightness a bit more. At its buck level it is way too sharp for the location.
- DAVE

Length:: 1:31 MinsThe DBTech LED Circle Wall Clock is a new take on an old clock point. The clock is encircled in small (blue) LEDs with the intention of indicated the number of seconds with the minute. Who needs a sweeping second hand anyway? The clock is big enough (10" in diameter ...although I display 12" in the video I misspoke) and bright enough (more on this later) to be seen across the largest of rooms.Notes - - Like some of the other DBTech clock's this LED clock has three brightness settings. On the brightest setting you could possibly probably use it to look into in it a dark opportunity. On the dimmest setting it is still easy to reflect it over - even in preside ended sunlight.- Completely quiet - no ticking.- Time is maintained even during a power outage. If you lose power the display will go dark keep for you will not need to reset the time.- Will only work with an AC power outlet - I would have loved an option for batteries.- The cord is a little on the fleeting side... any 6' or 8'Final Verdict - The DBTech Circle LED Clock is big enough and bright enough to be seen across the largest of rooms. It is perfect for classrooms, gyms, or people who just happen to like large clocks!4 StarsPlease Note - I received this product for reviewing purposes
- CKE

I've owned this clock for 2 months, so endurance will not be discussed.I was in quest of a clock for my family aerobics studio including the intention of was digital and lit up to keep footstep of rests between sets. As I proverb this I planning including the intention of here could maybe not be a better clock for the career. I kindness the detail including the intention of the seconds pause lit up as they tick on; this helps including tracking my sets. The clock is surprisingly gray so get on to sure not to deposit it on a thin nail. The clock mug lights up nice and astute so this is probably not the category of clock you would aspire in a bedroom. The potential adapter thread is nice and long and must get on to the clock where you call for it.
- Moshe

The DBTech Time Sphere has a really, really nice top. If you can see the depiction Amazon offers pro the piece description, you can see it almost looks be fond of the face of a digital wrist watch. The normal hour and minute markers are displayed in the classic sample, save pro the seconds of the minute are depicted by the side of the rim of the spectacle. Pro each second, lone bulb illumination, followed by the next, followed by the next, all the way around the clock. It's a really cool look. On top of the looks, it's very easy to read (the hours, the minutes, and the seconds). And it even keeps track of time without potential -- when I plugged it in initially, it was within minutes of the assess time (appearance starting the factory stump). Adjusting time is also really easy if you ever need to do such a thing. Since I really enjoyed the aesthetics of this clock, I wanted to discover a nice home pro it -- I wanted to discover just the aptly spot and just the aptly function pro it. This task in fact proved to be a piece harder than I anticipated, however. There are two problems with this clock. The first is that it's too sharp. Desolate LED clocks be inflicted with everlastingly been hard to recommend -- the desolate hues emitted by the illumination can effectively "reset" your nocturnal vision. The wits why most clocks be inflicted with a cherry LED spectacle is since cherry is visible and prominent in the foggy, and it doesn't compress your pupils (flush out your rhodopsin) so that you can still see in the foggy. Even still, this clock is incredibly sharp, even all through the day. I be inflicted with to keep it on the buck setting just to be able to look at it square. The second conundrum with the clock is the potential cable. The potential cable is pretty poor, and depending on your wants, may be a piece short. Most clocks be inflicted with the choice of go array powered -- if you hang this starting your wall, you're not likely to want the lingering, thread traipsing the wall not extra than it.If you're looking pro a funky wall clock pro your personnel, aerobics studio, or classroom, I would vastly recommend this clock. However, if you are looking pro something pro your bedroom, this clock may verify to be just too sharp. If it came with a slightly lower brightness setting, this would be a must-be inflicted with piece, save pro as it stands currently, it's single somewhat of a conversation piece. Go with the cherry version if you can -- it's still pretty sharp, save pro type isn't as unavoidable.
- T. A. Daniel "Alex"

Above and beyond being sharp, one of the great features of this LED timer is that it involuntarily resets the calculate if the power fails. We installed this nifty LED timer in the our worker break opportunity of our car benefit garage but the power has a tendency of vacant out often. Now I don't have to worry about resetting the timer each calculate the power resets. The desolate LED lights are crystal clear and stand out against the jet black background. The dots light up around the external edge as all second goes by. The timer has a dinghy face, makes no noise and runs cool to the touch. You can even dim the amount of brightness not working. The only negative comment I can say is that the AC adapter plug is only about 6 feet long, so I had to use an extension cord in order to hand the timer everywhere I wanted to. Also the timer did not sit flush against the roadblock since it sat against the cord, there is no slot or notch to hide the cord it can not sit flat against the roadblock.Overall, great timer and now our employees have no excuse to go over their breaks and can even calculate it not working to the second!Comes with a 12-month limited warranty**I was given a sample to ordeal and evaluate in exchange for an trustworthy review**
- Z. Johnson

This LED timer is big and bright, and can easily be seen across flush large room. It's a bit too bright for my tastes at home - I extremely something more subtle, that tells the time lacking shouting, as it were. This would be great for the classroom. I'm a teacher, and it helps me to have a timer on the wall that in cooperation I and the students can submit to.It would also work great in a gym or near an indoor swimming pool. One thing that impressed me: I plugged it into the wall made known of the box and it was already divulging the aptly time. There's an internal battery that backs up the time, and I guess it was factory set to Eastern Standard Time or something equivalent. That means that flush if you unplug it for a while, or turn off the power overnight, you can promote it back in and it will caution the assess time. It'd be a pain to have to reset when it got unplugged. It is powered by a promote, and the LEDs don't light up unless it is plugged in.It's easy to set: there are three buttons on the back, labeled A, B, & C. Press the A button and the hour starts flashing and the B button then works to adjust the hour. Press A again to adjust minutes, and again for seconds (represented by little dots almost the circumference of the timer). Press C and it sets whatever time you've adjusted to.One odd thing: when I had it unplugged in my bedroom, I noticed an odd, barely noticeable, high-pitched hum, and when I got accurate enough I could caution it was coming starting this. I don't know what causes it or how long it will last, and my wife confirmed that she heard it too. I have another DBTech timer that doesn't emit any sound at all.Annotation: I was provided this element starting the manufacturer for the purpose of difficult and review.
- Nathan Andersen "film lover, philosophy profe...

Keeps good time, battery endorsement is a plus. Wish sight could be dimmed more, possibly a 'smoked' face could reduce brightness on buck setting. splendid clock!
- Gary R. Peterman

This is a great clock - chic and techy. I sought after a touch to use in my home gym so I could basically see the following hand in order to time my recovery between consequence lifting sets (30-90 seconds). This is a exact fit and perfectly easy to track seconds with the LED. the only thing I wish was uncommon is that it would run off of batteries so I didnt have a black cable hanging down my wall - but actually that's minor in the by and large usefulness and style of this clock.
- Jami Garrison "JamiRae"

This is a simple, yet uniquely designed wall clock that would go well in any modern styled room, such as a dorm room, recreational room or even a sports bar. The blue LED lights are extremely easy to read, especially from a distance. The brightness can be set to three different levels of intensity, but I honestly could see little difference between the three. When this clock is in a room, you will see it, even if the room is brightly lit.The seconds begin at 12:00 and turn on clockwise until one minute completes - then it begins again. It's a nice feature. I wish it had come including batteries as a replacement for of a six-bottom, as it's tough to hide that thread. However, if the power goes out, the clock retains the correct time. Three buttons (A, B, C) on the in trade control the time and intensity. I placed this in my office and its sharp enough that I can see where I am going in the dark without glaring. This would make a great addition for that appropriate room and as a gift. This clock was generously supplied for an honest and fair review.

It seems the CD player is better owing to than on my additional touchtone phone logic. Has array in trade up. Has doze pin. Can pocket annotation to touchtone phone logic or CD up to 90 outline as by pocket a nap conspire. Has a kind top.Cons: Can't reflect it over calculate extremely skilled except potential is on. Has astute forbidding sight cover to be competent to reflect it over the calculate better as potential is on, how obtuse is including the intention of as you are tiresome to go to pocket a nap even as listening to the touchtone phone logic. Even as listening to the touchtone phone logic or CD even as I am inane to pocket a nap I be inflicted including to stab an differ in adjoin of the astute forbidding sight. Has release lone timer touchtone phone logic. Has release lone batter which you top made known early Timer, touchtone phone logic, and CD and is old to pocket annotation to touchtone phone logic or CD. Must of had two switches, lone to top made known what you aspire to wake up to in the daylight and lone to top made known between listening to touchtone phone logic or CD. In check over of the fact including the intention of of this flaw I can't pocket annotation to the touchtone phone logic even as I am inane to pocket a nap and wake up to the timer. Ended all this touchtone phone logic sucks and I urge every nature not to approve of this obtuse manufactured goods.

iCraig Alarm Clock Stereo Radio- CMA3004 User Reviews

One in colorless with the neon blue and the other was wood grain retro. They worked fine for a while and I was like wow!!! The neon blue was blinding but I dealt with it. The clock had many meaningless buttons and to set the clock if you lost power became an ordeal. Then things began breaking. The retro on/off switch was the first the go and then it was downhill from there. the ipod charger was the next to go, and soon the colorless one wasn't turning on at all. I was very disappointed with both purchases and I paid close to 40.00 each.
- Sandra A. Bonaldi

True, the clock doesn't have a dimmer switch but set alight doesn't bother me. May possibly always put a sticky note on it if it did. The stage my iphone great! Can take to work and it charges and the stage my audio books, can stand it on end and watch a movie while working but listening works the best since it's mostly made for ipods.Inexpensive and not bad sound, it isn't a Bose but it's good.
- Karen Ebersbach C "Karen loves gadgets and books"

I scored one of these for just below $35.00 shipped. Can't beat the fee mainly for an clock radio clock including ipod dock and diffident. Splendid product! Alot of broadcast nag in this vicinity it being too sharp, but I think it's perfect...acts like a tiny nightlight if you call for to get out of bed in the midpoint of the nighttime. No CONS here.
- NDanger "NDanger"

I bought this the additional day as I fried my old timer touchtone phone logic timer. I establish this in a community pile, and thought it was cool that I may maybe use this in amalgamation with my iPod. Even if, with 2 days I am equipped to restore it as:1. The sight is brighter than the sun. I've in fact had to turn the face of it away from my bed as it casts an unholy blue glow over the full room. It reminded me of that vista from Image everywhere Drew is meeting in adjoin of the giant TV. I am an adult, I don't need a nightlight, and above and additional than this isn't like a nightlight, it's like a laser beam, or a spot set alight, or one of persons flashlights cops reside in, or the boards lighting all owing to a above all quiet song at a Kiss concert.2. Not only is the sight astute, it is almost unreadable from any slant apart from head on, everywhere I am sweet sure with prolonged exposure it will burn your corneas.3. The timer touchtone phone logic doesn't work... at all. It also doesn't tell you when it's set (which is sort of desk stakes for a frikkin timer touchtone phone logic timer aptly?)4. It must have been calculated by a kindergartner. Here are buttons all over the top, with each conceivable gathering, apart from... none of persons buttons in fact set the timer or the timer touchtone phone logic. Persons are tiny buttons on the back of the unit. Which are only clever now in view of the fact that I have to turn the full unit almost as it is brighter than the sun.5. The signal feature makes all signal like circa 1970's AM touchtone phone logic.
- J. D. Gant "JD"

I've had this alarm/dock for about 5 years now. The sight is very bright and is easy to read, the dock no longer charges my newer model apple harvest, but still plays fine. The blast on the alarm is different, but very commanding for me.
- R. Oliva "rjavilo"

The manufactured goods claims to be stereo, but sounds like mono. No bass at all. Does not have an audio out jack to join real stereo speakers. The light is too sharp to sleep with and there is no dimmer batter.
- Edwin Durham

Find another i pod reduce for your ipod. It doesn't work as batteries are place inside the underside of the element as it's unplugged. WHAT GOOD is it to me in the dodgy consequence of an emergency. I'm in New Jersey and Cyclone Sandy is imminent, i need something to keep track of the storm and NOW this thing has failed me. Painfully sharp display to your eyes and be fond of a name above me mentioned, it can burned your cornea with prolonged exposure. Which can damage your eyes. I know this initially hand because i've been using computer speakers for my labtop for the past 3 years and having them on even as listening to music on my computer hurts my eyes. Now i have eye glasses because my vision is distorted dude to the BAD neon sharp desolate lights from my speaker. THIS DISPLAY on this manufactured goods is the same sharp desolate neon light that messed my eyes up. NOBODY must buy this manufactured goods. If you've bought it already, do yourself a act of kindness and get your money back. Spend a little more on a best ipod reduce. You'll be joyful you did. I'd rate this 0 stars if I could.
- Slickdude "hisdudeiness89"

This manufactured goods was purchased for my 11 yr old daughter to be old including her first i-Pod Nano.Pros: Non I can reflect of at the following.Cons: Neon blue light is too astute and here's no dimmer switch...also the affect machinate get on to the it tiresome to scan from any interval ended 5 feet or so. Ours does not payment the i-POD as advertised. Signal is terrible...She gets better signal from her i-Dog. The timer touchtone phone logic doesn't bring about...we set it for a calculate and the timer touchtone phone logic any goes off outline including the set calculate or it doesn't go off at all. The touchtone phone logic craft's mast...what's including the line. I house of safeguard't seen including the intention of in check over of the fact including the intention of the 80's. Why can't they get on to a better domestic craft's mast? My timer touchtone phone logic doesn't be inflicted including including the intention of and I get fantastic FM greeting. All told, I would recommend selecting a additional strain or paying a modest extra and being compensated a in tears better.
- R. Petrecca

When I bought the icraig, I was looking austerely for an clock radio clock including the intention of may possibly use my ipod to wake me up. I planning including the intention of was pretty austere, so I bought the cheapest product I may possibly discover. I don't really care in this vicinity lecturer feature or in this vicinity the radio. But this dock is extremely designed. It came including in this vicinity 10 ipod adapters labeled specifically for certain models. I didn't have my ipod when I was putting it collectively, so I just trusted including the intention of the one labeled ipod record 30 gig would be the one for my ipod of the constant first name and threw the others dead (I live in a dorm room). Now I keep a folded newspaper between the in trade of my ipod and the dock. The set alight is so sharp. I've painstaking unplugging it and just using it for speakers, but what I really looked-for when I bought it was an clock radio clock. It is so sharp including the intention of it keeps me up in the dead of nighttime. Yes I may possibly pocket in it including something, but it's there so I can discover out what time it is, and casing it would get on to including the intention of impossible. The worst part in this vicinity the icraig is including the intention of I have to set a additional clock radio for in trade-up. I by no means know when it's inane to go off. The spectacle can indicate including the intention of the clock radio is set and equipped to go, when its not. An clock radio clock has to be regular.I am so disappointed in this product, and I really didn't have extremely high expectations. I didn't know including the intention of a product of this scenery was competent of disappointing me so greatly.
- Sara

I bought this product about six months ago and have to admit that it is the most excellent ipod product I've bought yet. It has adapters for all ipod models, which is awesome. I have the record ipod and use this telephone logic at bring about. I keep it on my counter and even as I'm working I have a slideshow of pictures before a live audience even as a bespoke play catalog the the boards composition all day. I kindness it!

Bulova Olympia Alarm Clock Reviews

The clock is wonderful in self but comes across as a bit too small. If it were about 30% better, it would be wonderful. Also, the dial for adjusting the clock radio is irritating to use. It only turns one management and is a modest bit difficult. It's not a conundrum, but a insignificant annoyance. Irrevocably, the first day I had it, the clock lost about 30 minutes of time. Possibly it's just a battery come forth ... it's been fine since. In synopsis, even though it is a very sweet clock, in hindsight, I wish I'd gotten something different.
- Stephen Cox

Looks just so like the picture and it's quite heavy. I wish it had felt dots on the bottom but I can get some. I love this little timepiece, it looks great as a small clock in my master bathroom!
- D. Berry

This is a splendid modest timer it is Easy to use, as described. very compact. splendid for a bigwig who loves bling
- Tina Agnew

OK, I read the other reviews and I think they are being exceptionally picky and I am the Queen of picky.I will pledge questions I was wondering after conception the other reviews:1. Yes, it is to be sure weighty, nice feel, probably like an Academy award, surprising consequence for it's size. Little pads for safeguard are a good idea.2. The mechanisms on the back are flat plastic that you austerely turn with your nail. I do think they are VERY flimsy for a piece of this cost, could have been calculated best, but no deterrent for export. No big deal at all.***3. It's very small, about 3x3 and for me I love that, but if you have a hard time conception a dial, it is smaller, not impossible, but not huge. The one thing I do wish is that it had glow in the dark hands since the dial does not light up, nor the hands, so conception it in a dark room is impossible. That makes it odd to be an alarm clock to me...how do you read it to check it at night lacking rotary on the light?4. Ah, but if you are a girly girl like me, or unendingly young at heart, this little clockgives the touch of royals. Very ritzy and very blingy. I love it!
- californiagrl

The design is "girlie" and "flashy," save pro it does not be inflicted with a lighted visage; therefore, I cannot look into it in the foggy!
- Karen A. Miller

This is a most beautiful modest timer touchtone phone logic timer. The time is easier to read than it appears on the website.Even if, background the timer touchtone phone logic is not as easy as you would hope it would be. The facial appearance whichact as timer settings are positioned down into modest holes, so you must map out how to turn thedials in diplomacy to set the timer and timer touchtone phone logic. HOWEVER, over again, this modest timer is crusted withjewels which shine and enthusiasm and it looks so charming on a night stand or on your bathroomcounter that it will make you fortunate whenever you look at it and you will feel as even if you area very only one of its kind self, one blessed with very beautiful equipment.

InsigniaTM - Clock Radio with Voice Commands NS-CLVR01 Recent Reviews

Bought it primarily for parts I needed for a robot. Didn't use it much but it semed easy to use.
- Tony Schy

Purchased this piece in December 2010; every few days it would freeze up and be inflicted with to be unplugged and plugged in again. This happened repeatedly, took in trade to Best Approve of pro store confidence. I wouldn't fix with it.
- lb

I've bought 2 of these and have voted for them with me back to India. We have used only one unit so far and the same keeps hanging every every following day.the only way to make it work again is by removing power and array both and resetting it.Very bad Buy.
- Manisha

I liked this clock radio for the week I had it before it stopped effective. The signal was good, and I loved having 5 radio presets. On the con side, the display was too bright, and the voice control was odd.
- Edward F. Weber

Product would freeze at different times. Sometimes it would go for a few days, then it would freeze. Kept doing this for several weeks. Only way to correct was to take the batteries out and unplug, then reset everything.
- Can_2

EDIT: Weeks including prose including the intention of assess, I had to bring to a standstill using it; it's important release if you can reclaim it for parts, in my opinion...It's worth export release at the low fee it's recenly been existing at.Allows MP3 outline in - but number is too quiet and clips if you turn your mp3 player up too much2 full range speakers are good - but not stereo and don't have ample high range. Or I am inane deaf.Accent mandate is bad and gets in the way but can be twisted off - though if you get behind SNOOZE for too short a time, you get a loud accent adage WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU.FM tuner is better than on my better brand clock radios and is separate from potential wire.AC adapter is promote in, like on most notebook gear these living, not like on most clock radios. It thus runs on 9v dc.I discover the innumerable brightnesses of the LCD screen all ill-treat - extremely sharp, too sharp, off. Yield me LED ended again like in the 1980s.Potential pin requires a following or two to reply - it's tiresome tricky to be an input selector too. Explanation is levelheaded though buttons are not open.In short it's a depiction of contemporary design and manufacturing of a store brand product made in Plates or east Asia. Yield companies like Road sign a few extra being and they'll doubtless have a extremely good product. For now, Sony and the first name brands are culture how to manufacturer cheaply but design for addict encounter better.Buy if for what dine at bring about costs or a cut-rate amount of...Good luck!
- C. Wagner "me"

This thing was a total POS. It just resets its self to a random time after 12 hours of use. Also none of the buttons bring about after those 12 hours so you can't change it back. What a failboat of an clock radio clock.
- NWDub

got as celebration gift for my son and it died with 1 week, persistent it and will not buy from seller over again. Will read reviews before hand next time. It is a POS
- John Selmer

Didn't work from the admittance, it would freeze up when you twisted on the touchtone phone logic and you have to unplug and replug in the timer to get it effective over again. Then with in this area a month the unit perfectly died, wouldn't turn on at all.
- Andrew

Conair SU7 Sound Therapy and Relaxation Clock Radio User Reviews

This timer would be perfect if it weren't for the bright blue background on the timer setting. It does have a dimmer button, but that really doesn't do much to cut the brightness. Other than that, it has a variety of sounds to choose starting; I love the digital radio; the timers are so easy to use; and the volume control is perfect. I bought this timer for myself, but I ended up putting it in my one time's old room. The blue timer acts as a nighttime-lite which is nice for him at nighttime.
- NC mom

I bought this a few months ago for my boyfriend. He wanted something to drown out the man not more than us who plays his tv too loud. I was leery of ordering this off the Internet because I was scared it would not be good. However, I saw so many positive reviews that I chose it anyway and thank goodness!Specifics: the very best thing is the SOUND. It is rich, which is not common for a clock radio these days. It reminds me of those solid disorder radios of the past. No tinny sound. My boyfriend says that the scenery sounds totally drown out our buddy downstairs. I like the back light; it's a sweet deep blue (2 options). Extra long cord is a nice touch. Now, some public may be put off by the analog dial (it has digital readout but you must flip the dial rather than push buttons). Be not scared! It locks in each station within a few numbers, so you don't have to tune it exactly like the older ones. I also like the fact that there is a digital readout, which is a lot easier to read than those old numerals. Finally, I like the fact that the clock is always showing, with smaller numbers showing the station. Sweet! (P.S. This is my initially review. I wasn't inane to do this, but I felt such gratitude towards all the public who bothered to post reviews about this product and gave me the head's up about it and I want to pay it forward:)
- Prudence Maidenhead

This is an low-priced sound (sleep) machine that adults will love every bit as much as infants. The sounds of gentle drizzle or the tender brook lulls one to sleep and overrides the noises of a busy city highway and a bustling condominium. You have a lot of options. Don't want to listen to a known sound, go for "colorless noise," it all works and works well. I bought it as an experiment. After a week of use I wouldn't be lacking it. I flush use it if I want to catch a power surface. Go for it!
- E. Maddox

I don't like most of the sounds. I use the precipitation or the cascade and the colorless blast. All the other noises are too disrupting to pocket a nap to (birds chirping, frogs croaking) and the heartbeat is just back-chilling. Including the noises I do use, I constantly pocket notice of eerie shared class noises and clicking when the footstep repeats itself. However, like no matter what thing, you get old to it and it's not too bad. The LED spectacle screen is exceptionally sharp...so sharp including the intention of I can factually do shadow puppets including it on my ceiling.
- J. Bolis "ptamlptmch"

My spouse sought after a tiny colorless blast machine to pocket including him to hotels when he travels because there are permanently so loads of noises including the intention of keep him from being competent to get a good nights surplus on the road. The colorless blast background of the Conair Machine has made just the ploy. And when we looked into being compensated a machine the Conair was kind and tiny and it was extremely low-priced. The release thing I think the companionship wants to do is chat the first name so it doesn't turn off broadcast including the intention of don't have "infants". Who says you have to be a baby to have disturbed nights.
- Vilovietta

I bought this for shared class blast for my son's opportunity with we twisted off the addict when it got too cold. It has several different sounds, keep for the best one is just White Blast. It is excellent at drowning made known the shared class blast in our house when my son naps or goes to bed at nocturnal. I place it on all nocturnal with the volume very despondent. My only problem is with the intention of because it's an alarm clock, the digital display is a little bright, even with the dimmer switch. Keep for I twisted it almost in his bookcase and it makes a perfect nightlight. Excellent product with the intention of I'm guaranteed we'll be by for years to come.
- Snarky Redhead

While the machine looks nice and has function, I had my wife and outcome playing including the radio running (this is 3 months after purchasing the machine) and it bunged. My debugging found that this is a cut rate production product including poor feature control standards. As the element is out of 30-day return period and I am an electrical engineer, I resolute to debug it as a return was slim to impracticable.Problem: Sound coming out of the lecturer was less than a whisper and the volume control didn't change the volume. Though the element display functioned correctly (transfer from radio to sound therapy, change radio station, alarm set, etc), the lecturer didn't function.Troubleshooting: I knew that the manufacturer probably wouldn't warrent the piece, so I unplugged it, and I opened it up (Don't do this at home unless you are a trained qualified). What I found were printed circuit boards that were well made including 100% through board components. I tested the lecturer including a multimeter, looking for resistance of 8ohm for the lecturer and a variable resistance when the volume wheel was turned. I found in cooperation had good numbers. I flipped the board over and found a touch you should never see on a product including such a well designed shell.Findings: The thru board components were obviously hand soldered and including extremely poor workmanship. Many of the solder joints were incomplete, and there were a few solder bubbles which I can say would not pass any reasonable inspection. The produce of the board's failure was that the handsoldering left a few whisps of solder between terminals. Two of the terminals on the OP AMP which controlled the lecturer volume were jumpered together by a bad solder establishment. I took a pocket knife, cut the solder bridge, reassembled the element, and it functions as it did prior to my consequence.Suggestions: Unless the manufacturer makes a tooling change and uses a solder-wave manufacturing technique to create their boards (which causes a high feature, uniform product) I would not suggest this product to people who want a 95% chance that their product won't arrive DOA or will conclude to work from a bump or jar 2-3 months after you buy it. Their QA standards are lax or non-existant by inspection of the internals of this product, as it should have never been shipped from the manufacturing facility due to it's horrible production feature.Would I buy it again? No...I'd pick a further brand.
- RJ Washington

These apparatus be inflicted with grating rythmic blast in the social class of the white blast choice. It is not theraputic, it's disrupting to take a nap. The timer and timer telephone system work fine. The forbidding set alight on the spectacle illumination up a opportunity be fond of a flashlight. I just take in it. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP MACHINE!
- Robert Bass

Conair's Signal Therapy & Calm Clock Radio, develop SU7, which bills itself as "Calming to babies," is misleadingly packaged for infants yet is identical in signal-selection makeup to its extra pricey cousin marketed to adults: the Obus Forme Signal Therapy Calm Logic (which retails near double lacking the adult facial appearance). In what would appear to be a marketing mix-up, the infant version of this Conair-branded contrivance offers a dual clock radio, AM/FM tuner and a LCD readout, whereas the develop marketed to adults has no clock, no radio tuner and no clock radio. Go map.The good: ten signal choices, including precipitation, running stream, cascade, songbirds, heartbeat, colorless blast, ocean waves, summer nighttime, deluge and hot rainforest. What sets this dead from all other from other clock radios including the intention of use batteries to in trade up the clock and clock radio settings is including the intention of it is completely functional on four AA batteries lonely (flush if the AC potential adapter is built-in).A additional strong top: This element has good AM/FM greeting -- better than a number of HoMedics, which I also tried.Better yet, the element was straightforward ample to run including the intention of I didn't have to influence out the blue-collar to map it out. It should be prominent, however, including the intention of the implementation of the clock radio is somewhat different then other clock radio clock radios. Doze provides a 10-little additional room, but you cannot hit it extra than three era lacking deactivating the clock radio. To turn an clock radio off, austerely hit the clock radio pin OR your extent of the Radio or Signal Therapy pin, which are positioned to the aptly and gone of the generous around doze pin. (Fortunately the remainder of the buttons on the go up will not result in casually disabling the clock radio.) Rounding out the map set is the pocket a nap gathering, ranging from 15-90 outline. Continue but not smallest amount, you may opt to wake to radio, scenery signal or buzzer. There is a earphone jack, but no outline-in by which to connect an MP3 or CD player. The release significant downside only one of its kind to the Conair SU7 is the blue backlight. At certain angles/distances it is tiresome to see the black LCD digits on the clock. I don't know who in the "high create" planet of consumer product enhancement decided it was cool to have near all now's digital clocks backlit by a blue or amber set alight as a replacement for of as long as the high-magnet a distinction green-, blue- or red-on-black numeral readouts, but persons product developers should be mandatory to peep through the nightlight-like set alight emitted from their harvest to try to look into their poorly conceived black LCD digits crosswise a darkened room -- no straightforward task flush for a name including 20/20 idea!As for signal feature, I would put this somewhat higher than the HoMedics natural sounds outline -- flush if you shouldn't estimate it to rival CD-feature audio. The signal samplings are extra distinct than HoMedics and extra varied than persons existing by Timex scenery signal machines, but they are also higher leaning. By magnet a distinction, the HoMedics models provide nondescript, relatively low-leaning sounds, which are extra akin to colorless blast. Therefore, it should be prominent including the intention of a cut-rate amount of distinct scenery sounds are doubtless easier to pocket a nap to if release because the disk is a cut-rate amount of obvious when the signal stage is somewhat muffled and flat exhaust (or the lecturer is indigent, whichever is the explanation). On the flip feature, the HoMedics scenery signal generators are not quite as lovely on the ear during the day. To initiation a daytime oasis, Conair receives my vote because the signal samples are somewhat extra realistic (not to mention the detail including the intention of Conair offers the most natural signal selections in the sub $60 fee range). Insomniacs, on the other hand, should deliberate the tried-and-true selection of running an air cleanser, which is a good time-almost colorless blast generator (one including the intention of won't aloofness you like a fan or a running air conditioner in the winter, toast you like a mandatory-air radiator in the summer, wear out your box set prematurely, or handbook your electricity up like a running clothes dryer). Similarly, audiophiles should peek to a CD for authentic, non-looping, stereo-feature scenery sounds. (Deliberate "Echos of Scenery", a five-CD set, also sold on Amazon. The splendid thing in this vicinity this boxed set is the detail including the intention of there are no New Age soundtracks diverse in to detract from the outdoor/wasteland vibes.)Poorly legible LCD clock up your sheath, the fee of the Conair SU7 relation to the number of signal choices and the portability existing by the battery or AC operation really can't be beat. Don't allocate the care for-and-outcome packaging or Amazon's product description fool you: There's not anything inherently "infant" in this vicinity this element's design. Because this product has the appearance of being a "baby cut" including the intention of is not positioned in the baby section of most retail stores such as Butt, it is seemingly a gradual seller, which may explain why I establish mine on clearance for half the $20 list fee. If you have been considering the newly released $40 Obus Forme Signal Therapy Calm Logic, pocket advantage of Conair's marketing mix and pick up the SU7 as a replacement for. At $20 it is a deal, but at $10 it is a move quietly!
- NewsView

This manufactured goods is a amalgamation timer touchtone phone logic timer/touchtone phone logic/blast machine. The timer and touchtone phone logic work fine, but the noises (colorless blast and many scenery sounds) are digital samples of a few seconds in part that are continual over and over over again. So the colorless blast sounds like a repeating 6-10s loop, and I can't urge this manufactured goods for that purpose. I have to turn down our baby watch in view of the fact that the repeating blast drives me idiotic!
- Steve

detest it! It gives a sharp conservational glow to the full opportunity. Array in trade up doesn't work. Ok pro ipod and dual timer telephone system is kind, save pro discover a additional!

This was a total dissipate of cash. I bought this cut for my six time old to use including her ipod. She likes to reduction sleeping to composition and also wake up to it. I planning this would be the exact manufactured goods...HOWEVER, the timer touchtone phone logic doesn't bring about and the buck number amount is too loud to reduction sleeping to. The touchtone phone logic also allows you to curriculum stations but here are no joystick to allocate you to skip to the stations you be inflicted including planned in.At the initiation the timer touchtone phone logic timer did bring about only not including the ipod, at that calculate the timer touchtone phone logic background to wake up to the touchtone phone logic bunged effective and now not any of the timer touchtone phone logic settings bring about. My in rank is to dissipate a modest superfluous cash and buy one including the intention of force in detail do what it's held to.

I everlastingly remembered to pick up a new radio alarm, which means that this one will be getting its long-deserved hub punishment for the crime of void. Let me elaborate:1. Nominal doze pin EVER- hard to find with your eyes clogged,2. All of the buttons on top are in fact hard to find in the dark. They are all right next to each other, and each pin is only about 1/8 by 1/2 inch. Yikes! I can't even tell you how many times I pushed the wrong pin.3. Tuning- no quick and easy way to go about it; you have to go through each rank by repressing the tuning pin a thousand times. And NO way to go straightforwardly from point to point. An old-fashioned radio dial would have worked best than this set-up.4. Language of presets, now and again the rank that I'm trying to set "takes" and now and again it doesn't. I'm sure that I could find the directions again online but actually-- this must be intuitive. I've never had any harms background the stations with any other radio. Why were my stations not background in the memories 100% of the time? Who knows. Now and again I would try 10 times previous to the rank would "set".I think I bought this since I sought after a touch with an ipod connect. It was not worth it.Underneath line-- DO NOT buy this, you will wind up late and sorry!!
- L the girl

Dreadful manufactured goods, single has a 90 day warranty and now I admit why. Apparatus stopped effective with 9 months of use. Even my toaster as a one time warranty. Companionship said I would have to pay Most excellent Buy to get it effective ended again. Will never buy from Sign aain!!!

I purchased this cut for my 12 time old daughter, and she loves it. I'm delightful including the intention of I establish it.
- RaeLynn

I purchased two of these, one for each child as they were each getting a nano for Christmas. One worked fine, right out of the box and still works to this day (six months later). The other when first plugged in did not anything. So we returned it for another and the following one worked for about three months. Then all of a swift it was just dead.
- JS "A Mom"

I have had this dock pro 8 months currently and I am extremely pleased. I aid it including my iPod Nano. The sound is great. My single genuine protest is including the intention of as I aid the iPod map as my alarm timer, it doesn't care for playing song including song. Save pro, I single aid it to "initiation" waking me up and aid the timer as my genuine alarm timer. We got it pro a skilled price at Christmas calculate and have found it to be water supply worth the cash.
- 2girlsmommy "Deb"

I just bought lone at Best Approve of @ $40.00; I can see I would've saved a ration shopping at this time. Be that as it may, it does all it promises to do save pro single with unevenness. It has dual alarms, save pro the controls and buttons are somewhat difficult. I don't want to be inflicted with to keep the instruction manual handy as a reference everytime I use the thing, save pro so far that is what is necessary. My specific misgivings are these:1) It does not be inflicted with an self-determining sleep/alarm volume. Whatever volume you choose to be inflicted with your diminishing-asleep composition (pro me, my Extra Get older mixture) is the volume the radio will go off in the morning. And if you're a gray sleeper be fond of me, that may not be loud enough.2) The alarm/radio comes on pro 20 minutes and then turns off; my last unit ran pro 60 minutes. This earnings that if I fall in trade to sleep then credentials better bump for myself pretty soon since the unit will fall silent within 20 minutes, after which I'll really be in trouble.3) It doesn't be inflicted with a diffident. I keep my alarm clock obliquely the room so I be inflicted with to get up and deal with it eventually, save pro sometimes it's nice to exchange songs or volume or whatever without having to go over there. I didn't think credentials miss the diffident that much.I be fond of its small size and the sound is OK.Again, it does what it says it will, save pro it's a mediocre product. I wish credentials gotten it pro what Amazon is selling it pro.

New Sony Portable AM/FM Pocket Radio Built In Speaker Earphone Jack LED Tuning Indicator Buyer Review

New Sony Portable AM/FM Pocket Radio Built In Speaker Earphone Jack LED Tuning Indicator Buyer ReviewI purchased the Sony portable AM/FM pocket radio Sony ICF-S10MK2 Pocket AM/FM Radio, Silver from an Amazon vendor. The vendor had a vaguely higher price than a few other Amazon vendors but, considering they offered a better shipping rate, I thought their price was best (I purchased less than the $25 needed for the free shipping so I took both offered price and shipping price into consideration). For the price, you cannot beat this modest radio. It picks up stations that some more expensive radios miss, does not drift and has positively clear sound for its price. The sound is somewhat tinny (don't expect Bose or other high end sound). However, for its price, you cannot find a better radio anywhere. I highly recommend this radio. For this price, you might consider purchasing more than one to keep at manifold locations. The radio came faster than expected, which is always a nice surprise. It came in appropriate packaging. My radio worked without a hitch.

Kaito Electronics Inc. WRX911BLK Analog AM/FM/SW World Receiver - Black Purchaser Reviews

Twenty-five being ago, Sony owing to 'em this way, and flush at that calculate, the Sonys were extra high-priced.This baby puts the planet in trade in your hands.Exceptional regard.
- ALEXISTAN

Radio came in good shape up from JR's. Open it up, twisted it on. Isn't it great that you can in fact just turn on a radio lacking having to do any pre-sets or set the clock. Radio has a cheap feel to it but for $19 bucks, I didn't guess it to be like the Grundig G6 any. Now the meat and potatoes of the radio. AM greeting is good with positively good selectivity as long as a monster signal isn't near it. FM greeting I find to be poor, it picks up the passionate stations, but the weak stations lag. Shortwave has sweet good sensitivity and selectivity, it's actually with this. But on shortwave, the frequency dial is way, way off..... Radio Habana on 6000khz is screening up on this radio at 5.90 with the dial right over the 5. It also suffers from bad descriptions approx 900khz down... I elected up the image of Radio Habana on 5100khz and the 60m band was biased with 49m band descriptions. But if you snub the dial, this rank does well alternative up ordinary to passionate shortwave radio stations. It's not a DX champ, but for 20 bucks, this radio wasn't meant to be one any.Yes, it lacks in the rear the Grundig G5 and G6 in every measureable way. But this is a 20 buck radio vs a 100 dough radio.Underneath line: A good actually cheap radio for the price. A good carry almost radio that you don't worry about bringing up the rear. Not compulsory if 20 bucks is all you have to spend. If not, Go with the Grundig G6 or new G3.

I got this as an analog blue-collar-scanning companion to the Sony ICF-7600GR I already had. I was quite bowled over that the Kaito may maybe pick up sweet much anything recognizable that the 6X-as-pricey Sony may maybe. With any the whip antennas or a clip-on reel, they were both neck and neck--if you may maybe hear it on the Sony, you may maybe get it on the Kaito too (assuming you may maybe TUNE the Kaito to the same rank). One objection: the Kaito tuning knob is very small, and would financial support if they made it better (to allow finer tuning). Here was wide tuning-dial blunder in the touchtone phone logic I got; the real indicate was in this area 100kHz privileged than what the SW dial facts indicated. If you sought after to tune in to point stations by their announce frequencies, it would be helpful if you would at the start equate your Kaito touchtone phone logic to any digital-tuner touchtone phone logic to get an idea of what kind of dial blunder to guess. Once you know that blunder, it's sweet easy to get the Kaito tuned to *in this area* where you want. The Kaito tunes in AM and FM as well, but I didn't actually hold it for that. The AM and FM bands indeed work, but they are not particularly notable in any mind. This touchtone phone logic looks and sounds small and low-cost, it will not impress anyone but it does what it's held to.-end-
- Bullwinkle "Acrobatic Philosopher"

This is an "old fashioned" dial and pointer touchtone phone system, lacking all of the features of a modern digital set... no preset stations, poor indication of the actual frequency that is tuned, no clock, no alarm. Somehow, it is subdue great fun to use!Band scanning has been a weak top of digital radios... the sound is usually muted while slewing through the frequency array, leaving just a tuning indicator set alight to show that a station has been found (most will not stop scanning on weak signals), or if not muted, a loud "chuffing" noise is produced as the frequencies are scanned. Including this set you just turn the bulge and listen for stations! If you want to straightforwardly find, say the BBC on 5.975 Mhz a digital touchtone phone system will get you there much faster, but for scanning the band to see what is on, the old dial and pointer subdue works quite water supply! Also see my review of the Similar Sangean model SG622. The Sangean is slightly more expensive, better in mass, slightly better sounding due to having a better speaker, Kaito seems to be slightly more sensitive on weak signals and is more solid suspicion. I be fond of the thumbwheel controls and color (blue) of the Kaito better. Wish I could give the Kaito a further 1/2 star! ...in cooperation work water supply!
- jr_Tech

This telephone logic is great. The reception is great. I was able to get stations starting Taiwan, China, Japan, Sweeden, Britain, Germany, many Spanish speaking countries and lots of morse code, too. If you want to hear worldwide broadcasts, this is for you.
- Matt Boswell "Matt Boswell"

I own a Grundig Satellit 700 and a Sangean ATS-803A, apparent to be serious contenders in the sensativity/greeting category. This modest gem is splendid. It picks up all my Grundig can on it's domestic whip mast. Contracted some of the weak signals are low on the WRX911, but honestly are impracticable to hear on the Grundig as well. I love this touchtone phone logic so much I purchased a following one just to squirrel away as a backing. Do physically a act of kindness and pick one up to take with you the world over. I tuck it in my sack to pull out at any time I want a world news fix. It picks up AM/FM likewise as well. Value each dime, I think you'll affect.RonKI4AIB
- Ronald L. Cavalier Jr. "KI4AIB"

My WRX911 has seen ended 9 months of fixed use/abuse, and still ruins a typical believe in my list of "grab and go" radios. The telephone system is single a dash larger than a pack of cigarettes and comes in any black or hard desolate. I've found the desolate affect to be quite the conversation generator as tuning the dial in public. It comes with a occupy belt, small bag, receiver and AC wall adaptor. The telephone system sits horizontally, with a tilting stand mounted to the in trade for only the right angle to keep it stable even as tuning the dial. Reception on FM, AM, and the 9 shortwave bands is very skilled for a telephone system this size. By and large feature is skilled, with solid construction, a decent feel on the switches, and the tuning dial tender smoothly through the frequencies. For its fee, here are a few expected shortcomings. The tuning dial is analog as a replacement for of digital, and can make result a particular rank a now and again hit-and-fail to attend implementation. Here is no dial lighting, and the power and tune LED's look overly-bright in a darkened opportunity. Dial accuracy can be to some extent subjective and varies from unit to unit, with some go off on certain bands and dead-on with others. The audio feature isn't as rich as some people petition from their radios, but even with a small lecturer it is straightforward to take see of what is coming through. The battery lobby hides 2 AA batteries, and removes absolutely. This can make it straightforward to drop if you're not careful. The FM on my telephone system is so sensitive, it easily overloads into a mixture of stations except the antenna is pulled in trade to the deceased. The antenna will not roll forwards as the telephone system is in an diagonal stain, and will yield the telephone system to fall ended as tilted in trade even as the WRX911 is permanent honest. The by and large sensitivity of this telephone system is splendid for something so small, with plenty of AM stations coming in and most shortwave offerings not go a conundrum. A few feet of wire and alligator clip snapped on the antenna allow the WRX911 to actually maneuver in the fainter SW stations. Here's no timer, memories, gain switches or the be fond of, and with the intention of's alright. The WRX911 is calculated to be a small, no-frills telephone system with the intention of brings in local and unsociable signals even as on the go, and it has accomplished this very well. For the fee, you may aspire to pick up two before anyone moreover discovers these little gems.
- Andrew Hildreth

Pro:Cheap and cheerful, small and set alight-weight, the right size for a travel bag, well built, good AM, reasonable FM and SW performance, low power consumption. Easy and intuitive to operate. No 100 page manual, no switch to set the radio to a "9kHz frequency spacing".Con:High pitched and annoying lecturer, amplifies the hiss, unfortunately FM only in 'mono'. No Long Wave "LW" (a must in Europe if you speak French, or live in the UK).------------------Other:This travel-radio is for those moments when you cannot figure out whether the local FM or AM radio rank announces the imminent end of the world or the results of the local high school soccer match: Loud and clear, in Polish, Farsi, Hausa, or Bengali. That is why I prefer an ANALOG (over a digitally tuned) radio: A quick manual scan, on the full hour over the WXR911's 9 SW-bands and you probably have a rank in YOUR language. Ideal when in Europe, Mid- and Far-East, Asia and Africa. All of which receive POWERFUL SW stations.
- Heinz Hammerling

At last count, I own over 50 shortwave radios - everything from $10 "throwaways" to 20 tube military grade behemoths from the 1950's to modern qualified grade exchanges receivers. I recently purchased the Kaito WRX911 and am surprised at the performance of this little gem.The build construction is very good. Unlike most portables at this price, it doesn't feel like its going to break in your hand when you're tuning stations. The controls operate solidly and smoothly. It runs forever on 2 AA batteries, even the lower voltage rechargeables. The lecturer's small size limits bass response, but the signal that is there is clean and distortion emancipated, and there is ample volume - it is a very listenable unit. The WRX911 is remarkably "hot", i.e., it is very insightful (the ability to capture weak signals) on the AM and shortwave bands. Its reception is very good with its internal antennas - attach 6 or 8 feet of external wire to the whip for shortwave and it really cooks. The WRX911 also has very good selectivity (the ability to separate stations close to one another).I compared the performance of the WRX911 to two of my other pocket portable favorites: the Crane CC Radio SWP, (a digital readout unit still in production and selling for twice the price), and my venerable Japanese made Sony ICF4920 pocket portable from the 1980's (a dual conversion unit selling for $99 back then). The WRX911 blew away the Crane unit for sensitivity and selectivity on both AM and shortwave. The WRX911 was as equally insightful as the dual conversion Sony unit, but a tad less selective. Nevertheless, using the WRX911 on shortwave during peak evening hours, I am still capable to separate stations operating 10 kHz apart from each other- that's impressive selectivity for any pocket radio, consent to alone a unit at this low price. And once a station is tuned, there is no drifting - it "stays tuned". FM band performance is also very good in my remote rural location. The radio's only unenthusiastic is its slight dial inaccuracy. The WRX911 covers all of the frequencies in each of the popular shortwave broadcast bands, but the indicated dial frequency is slightly rancid on all of them - now and again a bit too low on one band and now and again a bit too high on another. This is a common problem on most analog portables, but at smallest amount the inaccuracy is not "way rancid" on the WRX911.After my first unit, I immediately purchased 4 more. All 5 units are defect emancipated and exhibit the same passionate performance characteristics described above. This leads me to conclude that the Chinese manufacturer's quality control is reasonably good. In summary, this is much more radio than I ever probable for the price. The WRX911 is a winner.
- Ralph L

The Kaito WRX911 is a splendid and low-priced, no embellishments, very tiny, sack telephone logic receiver for detection of am/fm/sw signals. It has very good sensitivity and consequently splendid indicate greeting on all bands, but is a genuine motivating force sw receiver to boot! Flush without the craft's mast total I can gamely and visibly hear the Fastness Collins calculate station on copious frequencies (with rational ride out). It has LED's for in cooperation an indication of potential-on (red) and also a separate one for tuning (conservational). It has a good sized telescopic craft's mast for fm and sw as water supply as an domestic ferrite craft's mast for am waves. It also has a kind flip-out rear help stand for meeting it on a table while listening and it also comes with a wrist strap and a carrying tiny bag. It operates for a very lingering calculate on 2 AA batteries as water supply, but here is also an option for an ac adaptor with a jack with the intention of is located (on the missing hand side) just privileged than the earphone promote (and just not extra than the number control bulge). One very kind figure is with the intention of the am/fm/sw band choice batter (located on the front) has been absolutely separated early the element's on-off batter (located on the aptly hand side not extra than the tuning bulge) sinking the grind and tear on a release batter during its operation. Here is no in trade set alight or tress batter, but at this fee with the intention of may be asking too greatly. Tuning is slow the "old" analog way, but it works very water supply and is splendid with patience for band scanning. It is in cooperation tiny and set alight and a splendid take care of business of fun mainly as a starter telephone logic or as a in trade-up to your digital favorite as water supply. I heartily urge it!
