News : Feel fortunate it's just six-month ban - RyderFeatures : Jesse Ryder's trysts with infamyNews : Ryder banned for six months after failing drug testPlayers/Officials: Jesse Ryder

New Zealand batsman Jesse Ryder is hoping to make a return to the international side for the upcoming home tours against West Indies and India. Ryder, who completed his six-month ban period after testing positive to a drug test in March, will be starting the season with Otago's first Plunket Shield game against Wellington.

"My main goal is to play for New Zealand again," Ryder told Fairfax NZ news. "All going well, I'd like to push for the West Indies tour. But, definitely, the main aim is to try and earn a call-up in time for that Indian tour [in January] if they don't pick me for the West Indies tour."

New Zealand is hosting West Indies for a tour that commences on December 3 and includes three Tests, five ODIs and two T20s. It is immediately followed by five ODI and two Tests against India in January and February.

If Ryder is to make a return for the West Indies tour, he has two Plunket Shield matches and four HRV Cup matches to impress the selectors, and he felt he is in shape for the start of the season.

"The body's pretty good," Ryder said. "I'm still suffering a little with the head, you know - just some light-headedness. But that's slowly getting better. I've been training hard and everything's coming along really well."

Ryder, who had taken time off cricket in 2012, returned later in the summer last year and scored heavily in the domestic matches, reeling off 1479 runs at an average of 49.30 across formats. In March 2013, Ryder was assaulted outside a bar in Christchurch and spent two days in a medically induced coma before making a recovery. But he still struggles to remember what had actually happened.

''I look back and think I am lucky not to be dead,'' Ryder said. "'I couldn't really believe it. I didn't know where I was, what had happened. Someone told me I'd been jumped, hit from behind and had whacked my head. It was just black. I just woke up [in hospital] all of a sudden after 56 hours or so, I think it was, just bang, like that.

"At first, I just couldn't walk properly. My balance was just so off and I was struggling to walk and the weakness was crazy. It took ages to get back to normal. I would love to actually take this opportunity to thank all the people who supported me through that time. It was overwhelming."

Ryder announced his decision to leave Wellington in July and represent Otago in the forthcoming domestic season. One month later, he was banned from taking part in any cricket-related activity after testing positive during a routine drug test while playing a Ford Trophy match for Wellington on March 24. The ban ended on October 19.

"I'm not going to bother with supplements anymore," Ryder, who had admitted his carelessness in consuming the banned substance, said. "They are a waste of time and I definitely don't want to ever go through that again."

Nature Sounds Dig Clock Radio Recent Reviews

I purchased this timer telephone logic primarily because it has an participation for my ipod player. Though, I am impressed with several features. For one thing, the reception of AM and FM stations is very good. I have had poor experiences with other timer radios that could possibly release just pick of the litter up even the local stations. I be fond of the detail that the speaker is on the adjoin of the telephone logic. That helps me hear it in the midpoint of the nighttime, keeping a very low volune to dodge bothering my partner. The trace of the telephone logic is small, allowing it to occupy release a small part of my already small nightstand. The read-out is generous, straightforwardly allowing me a quick time taste out in the midpoint of the nighttime lacking fumbling for my glasses. The digital telephone logic allows for austere tuning, and there are ample pre-sets for favorite stations, including 6 for AM and 12 for FM. There are nature sounds, not distinguished on my personal list of features, save for reassuring for those who be fond of such things. The MP3 participation facility fair, and the telephone logic comes with the cable looked-for for the connection. I have had the telephone logic for about a month currently and everything is still effective fair. All in all, quick a wrap for the fee.

unattractively indeed reflect three or four era before to export anything moreover by Timex. Evidently they're not practically the companionship they used to be.My timer DID NOT exchange for daylight reduction calculate last week. In check over of the fact with the intention of last Sunday, I be inflicted with washed-out at least thirty outline or extra every day, tiresome to set it myself without the manual. Sweet sad as you need written instructions to set a timer!!!!!!I also logged into [...] to see if I may possibly discover the information to set it idea with the intention of would be nearer than looking for manual. BAD IDEA! Their website is also AWFUL! All I may possibly always discover was downloads for watches.I actually reflect I'd probably be better off just throwing timer in the trash! As evidently unattractively be inflicted with to go through this over again in six months!
- TexMex Food Lover

I bought this timer telephone logic timer because I hoped it would have nice signal feature--and it does. Sorry to say, I traded signal feature for new problems that make it almost unusable. The doze pin is very tiny and situated aptly next to the off pin, which is the exact same size and shape. If you look at most timer telephone logic clocks, they have a gigantic doze pin isolated from the rest of the buttons. This is because we are sleeping when we want to use it and WE DON'T HAVE THE LUXURY OF GETTING OUR MICROSCOPES OUT TO FIGURE OUT WHICH TINY BUTTON IN THAT CLUSTER IS THE ONE WE NEED.The doze is also aptly next to the timer telephone logic set buttons. If you are incisive for the doze and hit the adjacent timer telephone logic set pin, your second timer telephone logic is turned off. Upside? I get a lot more take a nap than I used to.

When background this clock, take one step at a time, and once you set it, you will never want a additional clock - I set one alarm for AM and one for day appointments - the point is great, the music sound is amazing - IT IS HEAVY AND OF GOOD QUALITY - Background one alarm to carillon or birds and scenery calls, ocean - and the auto set - time zones, push a pin and you are all set We had contemporary power outage - and this clock was still set when the illumination came back on. I was amazed first the QUALITY and point - but the consequence - this clock has some brain.....but in background get the basics first - take one step at a time. For such a complicated clock, the sheer simplicity of its surgical course of action is fantasic. I expected this clock as a gift...has date and uncommon time zones, so no topic where you go, you can set your own time zone.

I was two steps away from calling the Timex technical assistance line after our manual grew legs. I noticed a website at the bottom of the leaf ([...] Low and behold, this is where Timex keeps all of their manuals (Logically, one would think to stay Timex.com. I guess they farm it out to these SDIDIRECT guys?) Unfortuantely, the T307S isn't programmed in the drop down list. So, I chose the T308 the picture and the instructions are the same (At smallest amount from what I dredge up).Good Luck!

1. Extremely tricky to fit, you must look into indigent instruction blue-collar carefully. I've had to dig made known the directions several era as virtually impossible to only preview at clock then fit.2. I bring about rotating budge bring about so be inflicted including to change clock telephone logic era regularly, takes a long calculate to move clock telephone logic.3. Has 3 levels of in trade fit alight on mug, flush on low background the fit alight is to astute so be inflicted including to keep clock facing away early me.4. Has telephone logic, keep for over again tiresome to aid, so I aid nature/whirr clock telephone logic release. Now the bad stuff, worked OK for in this vicinity 2 months keep for now:1. Potential pin won't bring about so can't curve telephone logic on.2. The dimmer/doze pin facility for doze keep for I can no longer logic through the 3 different fit alight levels.3. All 4 nature sounds are gone, as fit they sound BUZZ clock telephone logic release.I've unplugged unit & pulled BATT's in tension to get on to unit to reset itself, keep for no luck. I'm extremely dissapointed including Timex. Extremely indigent top. Indigent feature. I will replace clock including a different strain.
- K. Sloan "gonna wait it out"

What differentiates this alarm timer early the others? Quite a few things separate this timer early most of the quantity. I have programmed the noteworthy features of this timer below:1. The battery backup assures you won't oversleep2. There is a battery indicator so you admit as to change the battery backup3. You by no means call for to reset the calculate as the potential goes out. The timer is point at the factor and has the assess calculate as you promote it in. You excellent early the following calculate zones (Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaskan, or Hawaiian)4. You can fit the timer pro calculate light savings calculate and make leap year adjustments to care for the calculate and week on track5. You can fit the timer to have different era all owing to the week and weekend all at lone time6. There is a dual alarm feature7. There are many different options pro what you will wake up to (Radio, Scenery Sounds, or Timer)8. You can change the explanation on the mug if you like a foggy room or a astute display9. Four scenery sounds (Ocean Top, Birds, Accept, or Wind Carillon)10. There is a timer including the intention of will turn off the scenery sounds or radio in either 90, 60, 30 or 15 synopsis so including the intention of you can fall sleeping to sound11. You can point 18 radio stationsFor the cash, this is a kind alarm timer.
- Amalfi Coast Girl

I just expected my Timex T307S timer telephone system today. I be inflicted with to display I think I affect with Amalfi Coast Daughter's assess greatly more than Tierny's. I am a talented designer, save pro I sort of don't think it over the hideous design abomination angle. This is a $30 timer telephone system that happens to be inflicted with numerous kind, usable facial appearance you don't typically think it over in a $30 timer telephone system. My by and large depression is that if you take it pro what it is, it's quite a lovely piece.I am somewhat technologically wise, and am 50 years old. Yet I had this manufactured goods all figured made known in, display, 5 summary, without looking at the directions.Telephone system greeting is skilled. Dependability is skilled. Visually it's fit to be seen. Annotation: time spectacle is most visible starting vaguely privileged than. Bonus pro those income in areas with potential outages, be fond of pro hurricanes: I took the Timex made known of the amount and it was by currently in succession at the assess time! How kind is that. It is apparently nature-background and the array backing works. As I display: lovely. Desire that helps. Bye.
- Sushigoya

I bought one of these as I really liked the way it looked, and for the scenery signal map.It takes a bit of try to set the settings, as the instructions are perplexing, at most excellent. The foremost conundrum, and the mind I will by no means buy a Timex timer telephone logic ended again, is that with a few months, the number began to get decrease and decrease, and the number thumbwheel no longer worked, eventually, no signal at all. The timer worked fair.I called SDI and they were willing to exchange it if I sent in the deffective element, but as I weighed the expense of shipping, etc, it was'nt value it.I called and expalined the conundrum to SDI Tech aid, and they unwritten they had no perception how this may maybe take house.Reconcile it or not, I bought a additional one, in check over of the fact that I liked the preview and features so greatly, and with a few months, it had the rigorous constant conundrum. No extra.Extremely disappointing, beware.
- Paul in New York "Paul"

This has everything I was looking for in an alarm clock. Nice, big digital letters so I can scan it across the room if I need to, trusty battery backup for as the potential goes out, a loud sufficient "alarm" (I use telephone logic) to wake me up each morning, and it is loud sufficient I can use it as a telephone logic whenever I am doing approximately bring about in my bedroom. For these options, I produce it five stars. But I do be inflicted with to take dead a star since I planning Timex would be inflicted with put together a touch a lot less complicated. Let me tell you, I'm no dummy especially as it comes to electronics, but the way this works baffles the imagination sometimes. For instance, its claim with the intention of it is self-setting. This is misleading and, I'm again, I'm surprised with the intention of came from Timex. It isn't self setting. The clock is set as it foliage the warehouse so you don't need to set the calculate. But you do need to change the hour, or as they put it, calculate zone so with the intention of it matches your clock. I can't judge Timex would be with the intention of misleading. Why don't they just make it easy to set and leave the misleading claims in the rear?Setting the alarm and even re-setting the calculate is quite different from most alarms out there. Different is good as it is innovative and less complicated, but it is bad as it becomes confusing and extra convoluted to get the job done. The nice thing in this area clocks is with the intention of approximately calculate ago you set it, they should bring about just fine. I've never had to reset my alarm clock even as the potential has been out for semi a day (with the intention of has happened double). Plus, I like the MP3 player option and will evenly bring it into other rooms to take note to the MP3 player and it is nice with the intention of I don't be inflicted with to reset the calculate afterwards. So, I'd produce it the five stars for its dependability and features if not for making it extra complicated than necessary.

Q2 Wi-Fi Internet Radio (Black) Purchaser Reviews

You can excellent up to 4 different radio stations to curriculum onto your Q2. I was so amazed at the world-wide selection! Not only did they have local favorites but there were also stations from areas like Africa, Asia, and Europe. You can also point out various podcasts and weather stations. All is organized into categorized lists to make browsing super easy. Once you're done brainwashing just unplug the Q2 and you can initiation before a live audience your composition. However, the coolest feature about the Q2 is the way you use it. Each side has red affect (1-4) which corresponds to the programmed "station". For develop, for me I had positioned Krater 96 in position I, 181 FM Star 90s (pop genre) in position II, 808 Talk Hawaii (podcast) in position III, and FM Palulun 76.2 (Japanese Jazz) in position IIII.Now came the fun part! I turned on the Q2 radio, decided which station I wanted to listen to, and positioned that position facing up. The Q2 ongoing before a live audience! How cools is that? And it gets best. To make the number louder just tilt the radio up. To make it softer just tilt the radio down. To mute the number just place the speaker facing down. FUN!I couldn't mediate how splendid the broadcasts sounded. Of way, the local station came in loud and clear but I was bowled over that even the Japanese station was super crisp . . . all the way from Japan!
- Kailani @ An Island Life

I was excited to get the chance to try out the Q2. Its a fun little wireless internet radio in the shape of a cube. There are no knobs, no buttons, no cords. All you do is turn the cube on a new feature to chat to one of four preset stations. Flush changing the number is a austere twist forward or in trade. Obsessed by the internet radio logic on the q2 website and powered by a rechargeable battery, the set up and programing is super straightforward and takes a cut-rate amount of than 10 outline. Because of its tiny mass, its straightforward and water supply-located to pocket everyplace and the signal feature is surprisingly extremely good for such a tiny element. I love the fun affect and pattern selection. So far, the rechargeable battery has lasted just fair, needing to be revitalized each few weeks. All in all, two thumbs up...a splendid gift for a wide range of broadcast.
- commonsense

After just seven weeks, the battery will no longer charge and Q2 Telephone logic's rejoinder is austerely with the intention of I "should return the element to (my) retailer for an exchange manufactured goods". Unfortunately, my dialogue box to return/exchange at Amazon ran out after one month, so now all I be inflicted with is a $119 document consequence.
- M. Grimley

A single lecturer Internet radio contrivance that is easy to use and portable around the household. Turn the lecturer on it's manifest sides to take note to 4 preset composition streams, tilt up for volume up and tilt down for volume done, house on lecturer for stop/intermission. Sounds splendid for a single lecturer. Rechargable battery, Easy setup. As not compulsory by the companionship web site, I downloaded the software before I brought to see what it was about. Able to preset composition streams and podcasts. Splendid gift for composition lover/doohickey self. Just fun material!!
- Reed M. Jordan

Straightforward to set up and use a 6 year old can do it. Has great sound pro a tiny contrivance and its portable. I def would urge this to anyone who wants a tiny portable audio contrivance competent of getting thousand of stations of each genre. You will not be disappointed.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Soffer Cheated on Chris Martin: Sexual Affair To Be ...

Gwyneth Paltrows feud with Vanity Fair isnt dying down anytime soon, especially with Graydon Carters comments last week. I dont think I need to discuss how rare this kind of story is, especially because publicists usually manage to shut down negative expose pieces on celebrities especially with A-list stars like Gwyneth. But Graydon Carter is not backing down, and he has enough pull to make this story run and Graydons already confirmed that they have a good writer on the story, and it will definitely run. Considering that they put Vanessa Grigoriadis [one of Vanity Fair's top writers] on the story, I think hes made clear that theres no way this story wont run.

According to a new report from Page Six, one of the things that Gwyneth is reportedly afraid of is the magazine digging into her friendship with Miami billionaire Jeff Soffer. A source explained that Vanity Fair is digging deep into the rumors surrounding this friendship, saying, Vanity Fair is asking if Gwyneth had an affair with Jeff back in 2008 when he reopened the Fontainebleau. He flew her in for the party, and she stayed at his house.

At the time, Gwyneth and her husband, Chris Martin, were said to be on the rocks. Since then, theyve obviously made up, but could Gwyneth have had an affair? Gasp.

Other topics that could be explored in Vanity Fairs expose could be Gwyneths falling out with Madonna, who used to be one of her best friends.

In fact, theres a lot of things that are kept under the rug with Gwyneth, and I have a feeling Vanity Fairs not going to pull any punches with the revelations. Cheating rumors? Check. Broken friendships? Check. Relationships in Hollywood? Check. Reputation with the public? Check.

Gwyneth has pissed off Vanity Fair, and theyre not going to back down. Itll be interesting to see what she does, if anything, to try to get this piece shut down but for all intents and purposes, theres nothing she can do.

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio Buyer Reviews

We live in the public and each additional day, out of the blue, we baggy potential for seconds and now and again when a storm hits for longer than that . That means having to reset the time in our old Sony Alarm Timer more often that we would like to. Our bedroom is huge and we have this timer on the cupboard on the contrary side of our bed so that we both can see the time when we wake up in the midpoint of the nighttime. The 1.4" LED spectacle came in handy for that matter, also the fact that you can adjust the brightness of the spectacle (yes, I tried the Sony ICFC138 to no aim because the facts weren't displayed sharp enough at nighttime (let lonely trying to see the time during the day). The affect of the facts is green just like we wanted (since we don't find the red affect calming at nighttime). This unit suits our needs impeccably but would be even better if some additional facial appearance could be perfected (like signal quality) or superfluous (like the bi volt figure).
- Ana Luiza Welch "TIPSY GIPSY"

Clad clock radio clock for the price.Pros: inexpensive, preset time, dst auto change, battery endorsement for potential stoppage, easy to tune radio stations, easy to read sight, brightness of sight is flexible.Cons: Clock radio "A" can be set to chime or radio, Clock radio "B" can only be set to chime or an electronic tune. Both alarms cannot be set to the radio. Cannot change or view the clock radio setpoint unless the clock radio is turned on, so when you pass the current time the clock radio activates. Radio sound is poor but in line with the price of the clock radio clock. The doze can increased from 10 min to 20 min to 30 min etc, but if you hit the doze button double while at the initiation silencing the clock radio, you go straight to the 20 min doze.Overall: a good clock radio clock for the price but I would have paid more for a full featured clock radio had I know its limitations up front.
- Jody & Dave

The time on this timer was already fit, right starting the factory. All I had to do was plug it in.Uses a very common coin battery, which was already installed and activated. What's great -* Alarm will sound, even if power is still gone.* Generous, sharp display* Straightforward-to-fit dual alarms* Nice-looking timer* Good-sized buttons: no fumblingWhat's less great -* Can't fit both alarms to telephone logic - Alarm 1 can be fit to telephone logic, save for alarn 2 can release be fit to tone or melody. If a name has figured a road to get both alarms to sound with telephone logic, please let me know!Final note - Approve of this timer telephone logic. I bought one, and a month later, bought another. It's that good.
- James R. Powers "GottaHavit"

I hesitated to get this since I could not find any in rank on the skill or lack thereof to disable the Daylight Savings Time. In Arizona, we would very NOT save our Daylight in the summer. :D So I was very happy to find out that this is a map that can be disabled. The reins are easy to use, the alarms promptly configured, but the sound feature is a tad tinny. Still, I didn't buy it for the sound, so I'm very pleased with this clock radio.
- Tequila "desert dweller"

I bought this to exchange my old timer touchtone phone logic timer. It has a shiny top that takes up very modest interval. It has two alarms and can be set to touchtone phone logic, beeps or songs and has an flexible doze background. The built in touchtone phone logic facility well and here's a take a nap background so that if you like to fall sleeping to the touchtone phone logic you can have it reluctantly shut off with a fastidious amount of time.It has an flexible brightness amount, but I establish its non-payment/peak amount to be apposite. At that amount it's astute ample to see in the dark, but not astute ample to keep me up. The timer touchtone phone logic is easy to wake up to and increasingly gets louder on the beep background. It reluctantly set itself to the assess time and date as soon as I plugged it in, all I had to do is set the time zone. It has a DST map that can be twisted off or on.The only map gone is the cleverness to make to diplomacy the timer touchtone phone logic for any weekdays, weekends or both. It's not a big deal, primarily with two alarms but it would have been nice. By and large I'm very pleased with this timer touchtone phone logic timer.
- B. Jackson

I cannot judge how greatly I love this timer telephone system timer. It is the simplest to curriculum (the timer telephone system), has 3 uncommon dimmer settings pro the set alight, and has 2 break alarms - lone pro telephone system and lone pro a very lovely tone.I travel very extensively, and be inflicted with been mandatory to conspire made known factually hundreds of timer telephone system clocks ended the years. This lone is the most excellent I've always, always used.I be fond of it so greatly I bought 4 of them pro our family, and threw dead the clocks in each bedroom.Pro the at the start time always, it seems be fond of a designer in detail took the time to design a unadorned, intuitive timer telephone system timer.A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- TravellingBuckeye "business owner"

Love the extremely large LED display and involuntary time settings. Potential outages should no longer require resetting of the clock. Item turned out to be just so what I wanted.
- Pellegrino Matarazzo "a pilgrim"

I have been using this alarm timer for 6 months currently and I couldn't be happier. After years of incisive for the aptly alarm timer I finally establish it.Positives:1) I can think it over the display! I have moderately poor idea (glasses prescription is -3.75) and if I wake up in the middle of the nighttime I can clearly think it over the time with this timer at my bedside. The green light plus the large numbers are extremely clear.2) The progressive alarm wakes up flush my gray-sleeping husband. The first few beeps are slow and they increasingly alacrity up to grab the attention of the heaviest sleepers.3) You don't have to set the time! What more can I display? You set the timezone, promote it in, and it sets the time. It flush catches daylight savings.4) If the power goes made known the small battery saves your alarm settings so when the power comes back on, the timer resets itself and you subdue have your alarms ready to go. This has saved me starting being late to work more than once after a late nighttime power outage.5) The display light is adjustable. I've had green/blue alarm clocks before and the display was so bright it practically light up the whole room. The dim setting is fine at nighttime, I can think it over it but it's not acting like a flood light, and I can subdue think it over the display just fine during the time too on the dim setting. Even if during daylight hours I do have to get on to a little closer to the timer to think it over it.6) I love the full 10 minute snooze. I don't be with you why other clocks have a 7 or 9 minute one.7) You can turn off the alarm when it's in snooze-manner, you don't have to wait for the alarm to go off again.Neutrals:1) The radio isn't great, lots of static and the speakers don't sound perfect. But I wasn't buying a radio, I was buying an alarm timer so that doesn't really matter to me. If you want a radio go buy a radio. *shrug*2) The alarm isn't terribly loud. This is counter-acted by the progressive alarm beeping.3) It's a little bit large, but for the big display numbers I assume that's kind of de rigueur.Cons:I really don't have whatever thing bad to display about this timer. One other annotation:Some people have mentioned in their reviews that you cannot set the snooze back to 10 minutes if you go too far. If this happens wait until the snooze display clears off (takes a few seconds) then re-hit the snooze button, this will reset it to 10 minutes.
- Emma Schwab "Alta's Mom"

I feel like a complete goof for reviewing an alarm timer, but I love this one. I have had 4-5 alarm clocks in the past few being that I have either gotten rid of or just tolerated. The old alarm timer that I have been using for the longest time wasn't working by the book so I bought this. I couldn't be happier. You can instinctively map out how to program it w/o a blue-collar. The plastic is a slightly shiny and nice looking; the face is very apparent. The two alarm options were a requirement for me. The 1st allows a tone or telephone system and the second allows a tone or a weird melody tune.... thing. I like the buzzer in view of the fact that it is a little higher pitched than I have heard on so many alarms and SIGNIFICANTLY less raucous in the morning. It's not a ENNNNHHH ENHHH ENHHHHH!!!!; it's more of a beep beep... beep beep, similar to a watch. It doesn't jar me out of bed and immediately stress me out in the mornings like most other alarms. The time auto set to DST and is powered by some kind of cell array that is included (no 9 Volts). Several brightness options are there. I would have preferred another slightly dimmer brightness setting in view of the fact that sometimes I am very insightful to light, but that is a nit picky detail. Regardless, the lowest setting is decrease than most other alarm clocks I have seen / used. The price was not more than twenty five, which was a bargain. The telephone system is apparent and free of static, the tuning is adjusted vial dial (vs. buttons). The alarm brainwashing can also be done both ways and fast forwarded in EITHER management (vs. just fast forwards and slow backward).I would urge this to a friend solely due to the more friendly buzzer, let lonely the lovely look and the ease of brainwashing.
- M. Green

The piece description is very real. If you want a dual alarm timer touchtone phone logic similar to those from 10 years ago, that is just so what you will get and that is why I ordered it. Nothing fancy, just basic but with the Sony dependability. There are a few nice equipment though - the calculate is preset, options for the dual alarms signal, modifiable brightness, battery backup, very easy to run and the AM touchtone phone logic in detail facility well, unlike additional timer radios. This timer touchtone phone logic has no embellishments but for the fee, it is good and dependable.
- Deborah M. Papallo "Debby"

Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio

get up up on calculate including the ICF-C414 AM/FM clock telephone logic. Boasting a generous 1.4" LED spectacle including flexible brightness and an compulsory daylight savings calculate conspire, it will grant reliable calculate-maintenance all through your slumber. A in trade-up battery logic and NO POWER NO PROBLEM dual clock telephone logic logic (to keep the clock and the clock telephone logic in commission all through a potential interruption including a CR2032 battery installed) enlarge superfluous concord of mentality for persons can't-fail to attend appointments. Timex T612s Auto Set Dual Alarm Clock Radio User Reviews

I have never been "emotionally involved" to a clock telephone system before. This is a GREAT hold. It has one of my favorite facial appearance EVER on a clock and with the intention of is the skill to turn the display light intensity not effective and even OFF. For persons of us sensitive to light while sleeping it is a godsend. Plus the additional facial appearance of MP3 playback, CDs and white blast. It is wonderful. I greatly recommend it if you are looking for a new clock telephone system alarm.
- C. Eiswert

Good points:1. Large sight is very easy to read. Backlight is dimmable.2. Reasonably priced.Bad points:1. Improbably shaped: very large in front (where the CD is inserted) and less important at the back, so the unit seems better than it actually is. Nice for reading the sight, but it looked crowded on my smallish bedside table.2. Impracticable to curriculum a CD track selection as a wakeup option; Track 1 will play every time. To get variety, you have to switch CD's. That's just poor design.3. There are a link of scenery sounds void as a wakeup option, but there is no "white blast" setting to aid in falling asleep.4. Despite the claims of good FM reception, I was unable to get even one FM station to come in visibly (the unit sat next to a window), and even the local AM stations had static.I lived with drawbacks 1-4 for a week before giving up and persistent the unit. It's just not very well made.
- B. Sloane "dotalbon"

The description says there is "pre-set digital tuning". This is flawed. It has analog tuning with a thumb wheel. You will have to remember the facts of all your radio stations and manually tune them. And when you turn the thumb wheel, it changes both the AM and FM number. Gosh, it's been ten being since I've seen something like that. Totally improper. I have returned and my money was refunded. (Note: the seller contacted me and told me that the inaccurate description is honest from Timex, which I incorrigible. Nevertheless, any the seller or Amazon must edit the description so as not to pass on flawed information.)
- Walter Dzierga "vital_interests"

I actually liked this timer telephone system save pro returned it anyway due to a release just any annoyances. The at the start CD that it played would not mess about to the aim. The player got stuck at the aim of lone track and just froze. The following annoyance is the wake to CD conspire. It works fine save pro the unsystematic conspire does not work with it. This earnings that you will everlastingly wake to track #1. Unless you chat the CD you will wake to the constant song each time. The third and insignificant annoyance is the MP3 outline in jack. I plugged it in so I would not lose it, save pro that earnings the CD player is disabled. I had to influence the jack made known part way until the CD player would mess about.I also wanted a timer telephone system with array backing that would potential the wake up timer telephone system. This timer telephone system does not do that. The array backing is release to care for the time and timer telephone system settings all through a potential rub. It will not wake you up all through a potential rub, which is what I actually looked-for.
- Rick

I bought this timer in check over of the fact that it has bags of splendid features: AM/FM timer telephone logic, dimmable sight, CD player, daylight-savings-calculate adjustment thrash, etc. But the reality was one big disappointment with a additional. The worst disappointment was that the telephone logic is tiresome to refrain accurately AND it doesn't call the tuning! What skilled is a timer telephone logic if you refrain it to your pet NPR station at bedtime, and by daylight as the alarm comes on, it's drifted a few points up or not working the dial and you wake up to static??? The additional big disappointment: the affect that affect the numerals are so watered-down that if you dim the sight you can't look into them from extra than 2 feet dead. The closing annoyance: by the calculate I got so fed up with the timer and packed it up to restore it, the 90 day Timex warranty had expired. Grrr... I don't reflect that continue gripe would have been a conundrum if this had suggest itself frankly from Amazon, but the further than vendor, DB Roth, makes you restore things to the manufacturer; they don't stand in the rear the things they advertise. In outline, my authorize is AVOID THIS CLOCK!
- Mary Applegate

I read all the reviews on this timer touchtone phone logic timer BEFORE I purchased it in view of the fact that I have been burned before to, this timer won't let you down ! As a additional assessor mentioned the dimmer settings are what sold them, I will announce it sold me too. I hated life blinded by all persons timer touchtone phone logic clocks! This has 3 levels of brightness or you can absolutely shut off the set alight. AWESOME!! I love the scenery sounds that come with it, can be listened to even as diminishing aleep ( even can set for 60,30 or 15 mins) or for an timer touchtone phone logic. Has a CD player and can hook up to your MP3 . What is not to love? The signal isnt Bose but, hey the fee isnt any..I am very satisfied and vastly urge !!
- Phylicia M.

I was looking for a stylish CD-radio alarm clock and this new Timex model fit the bill. Unlike most alarm clocks today that look like spaceships designed by rappers, this clock is sophisticated in appearance with an appealing orange colored set alight that illuminates the time and date, and beyond the sturdy plastic shell contains actual brushed stainless steel as part of its design adding to its 21st century aesthetics without looking cheap. The clock is also compact and easily fits on your night table without looking cumbersome. The sound quality is more than adequate, but don't expect Boise lecturer quality, just smooth and precise enough to leisurely listen to in your bedroom while getting ready for work; the CD player works likewise as well, even if the nature sounds I find useless (even if our 17 month old daughter Julia enjoys the sounds of the beach and birds). All in all, it's a keeper.
- Jeff

I bought this for my partner for Christmas. He loves it. It twisted out a modest bit better than I thought it will be, but the top and the look of it is splendid. The four calming sounds are extremely kind to pocket annotation to, and the signal of the speakers is actually skilled. You can chat the sight light from astute to "no" light (so it will not scare you if you can't pocket a nap including light on). The timer also comes including a CD player and you can form a junction including your MP3 player if you aspire. The touchtone phone logic gathering is straightforward to set.Ended all a splendid manufactured goods which I would buy ended again.
- Sabine Unterberger

No digital tuning, even with the description. A major issue for me is that you can only use cd and timer for alarm 1 and radio or scenery sounds for alarm 2. Doesn't seem like a huge deal, except you want two buzzers in the daylight, or timer and cd. Will only wake to track 1 when cd is set. Auto-timeset and digital timing are void on the less important model, but that one doesn't have the cd player (and maybe not the scenery sounds but not sure about that.) Nice advent and point, if not. I can't urge this even if, since there are best options lacking these fastidious odd point flaws.
- Technopagan

I researched every timer telephone logic timer I could find online, and also in equipment. This is beyond skepticism the best void. The styling is splendid, trace is very evenhanded, signal is good. Setting the timer telephone logic is easy, with 2 break alarms. The dimmer choices actually make this one stand out. The low setting is low ample to not disturb take a nap, and there is also an Off setting. Even in the Off setting, the sight is basically read in daylight. If you read any other timer reviews you will find that other timer's dimmers have a real conundrum of life too sharp. The only insignificant con I could say is that the CD timer telephone logic everlastingly starts at footstep 1, but I don't think that negates any of its good points. It does read R/W CDs, so you could remix your own timer telephone logic CDs. To one of the former reviewers, I place of safeguard't seen any timer telephone logic timer battery backup able to in fact power the timer telephone logic, just to keep the time setting.Owned for 4 months now and effective splendid. I would highly urge and buy over again.
- Kevin

I was told by my contractor to buy it. After it was installed I realized that the system is extremely limited in factions. The single good thing is that I do not be in this world in this house and do not use it (house is rented made known). Try other systems with more functionality.

Projection Clock Shopper Reviews

Projection Clock Shopper ReviewsArm is not bendable ample so had to bed in dead early our baffle to be competent to aid. Additionally, pro the fee, it must contain atomic timer management keep pro it doesn't. Talked to Bedol before to export and was not impressed including them and they exciting a heck of a allocation extra than Sharper Assumed character. The top is kind, even if.
- Paul Rose

Projection is difficult to see in daytime, but is straightforwardly visible at nocturnal. Sturdy base that allows projection to be rotated 360 degrees and aristocratic about 20 degrees from straight. There is a very small clock on the base as water supply which shows what is projected.
- Raj Patel

Based on the reviews I look into I wasn't sure if this is what I sought after. keep for its twisted made known ok. My old projection clock died and they be inflicted including discontinued including the intention of style. i'd tried a couple of others keep for a important condition I had is for swivaleable skill. I must be competent to orient the projection so including the intention of I can think it over it at a glance. if I be inflicted including to conspire made known the calculate, as its on its side or inverted it wakes me up too much. and the ceiling in my bedroom has too loads of angles, so I can't only top it honest up.
- Shirl D A

I've had other projection clocks, this is the single lone not visible in daylight. its way generous on the ceiling if positioned at a nightstand amount. the roll is nominal and will give you a stretched translation of the calculate. The single decent functional way to aid it is to place it on a distinguished cupboard so the calculate is sharper on the ceiling and count on viewing single in a darker setting so you can think it over it. the base is water supply-built, gives best forwards visual(if not wanted pro ceiling check over) if you deposit it down save pro not what it was calculated pro. I would display its an okay timer; save pro care for shopping almost there are much better ones out there. I do like the fact the light is green, most others are cherry.

Timex AM/FM/CD Clock Radio (T608T) User Reviews

Timex AM/FM/CD Clock Radio (T608T) User ReviewsWhile the design of the clock is nice and the time is easy to read, after only a couple of months the CD player is sweet much broken after only a couple of uses. The CD is very slow to spin up, then just stops spinning. When it did play, there is an interference buzz so the sound was horrible.
- LongboarderDude

at that calculate the CD player bunged effective including in this vicinity 6 months. Pun business is, a additional Timex CD timer touchtone phone logic timer we purchased bunged effective a few weeks before long. We won't be export Timex ended again.
- Puffdog

I don't have this exact develop but the only variation I am aware of is the affect. Mine is blue. I have enjoyed mine and I haven't had any tribulations with it. I haven't had any tribulations with any buzzing from the speakers (I reflect it sounds sweet good for the size) and I don't reflect the spectacle is too sharp (the one I had before was a lot brighter.) My radio doesn't have any tribulations... I live in Society Rank and it picks up stations from Houston (which is about 80 miles away) clearly. I like life able to wake up to a cd or the radio instead an irritating timer. I have had it for at least a year and everything works fine. I don't use the nature sounds though because I never found them very calming. I got mine on clearance at Target so I got it for sweet cheap (almost $20) and I reflect it was a splendid buy.
- E. Ringle

I have had this for only a week but here are my impressions so far. The display is way too sharp, you can almost use it for a reading lamp. The sound is ok but nothing great. I have not noticed any humming sound in it like the other reviewers however. The nature sounds are nice except for the wind one which just sounds like static. Overall I think you could do much better than this.
- Puffdog

this modest machine is splendid. i've only had it for a few weeks, but it has surely made a big variation in how i start my day. i can program exact songs to wake up to...nomadic from sleep into the waking planet has by no means been more gentle. my girlfriend and i were tired of waking up to depressing news on NPR (not that the news must be avoided, but hearing it initially thing upon waking can put a damper on the day). i think all must have a cd playing clock radio, if not this brand, then pick one of your choosing. i got this one for a good price and see unquestionably nothing wrong with it. actually, let me rephrase that: the generous conservational display is a tad bright (or brighter than the one i had grown accustomed to) and there is no dimmer switch as is available on other cd clock radios i looked at. it's really not a big deal at all, and after a night or two you probably won't even notice it. overall, i think it's a splendid buy...and the sound is sweet decent for such small machine.
- Just the Facts

I just purchased and returned the Timex T623 clock radio, since the spectacle was unreadable at any distance. So I selected this lone up in exchange, seeing that it had a nice conservational LED spectacle. That may be true, save pro all the nice features that were on the additional model are gone starting this lone. Pro model: Ability to sleep to "nature sounds" and wake to the radio. Can't do it on this lone, pick of the litter lone or the additional and that will be in cooperation the sleep sound and the wake-up sound. A additional model: Want to sleep to calm down social class sounds and wake to something louder? Can't do it on this lone, the volume you sleep to is the volume you wake to. Why can't they put this spectacle on the additional clock, then they'd be inflicted with a winner. This lone's going in trade too!
- Jabba

on low number you will hear a hum, somewhat complicated to find different features..........its vacant back sorry
- R. Ricardo "wrover"

With my great Panasonic CD timer touchtone phone logic bit the dust with my ten year old minced the top of the CD player with his fist, I matured on this Timex develop. With only one night I know it is inane back to the pile. The hum when before a live audience a CD is so loud it effectively kept me up all night when listening to a "calm" CD to lull me to take a nap! The touchtone phone logic is appalling and we can't pick up ANYTHING! This box isn't value $10 of my cash, let lonely $50. The only reduction feature is the scenery sounds, which I take pleasure in waking up to, but I can everlastingly buy a CD with persons.
- trixiekat

I had two of these Timex clock/radio/cd players of this model. The first lone, the sound completely died after in this vicinity a year. Luckily, I was able to restore it, save pro the second lone had a defective radio starting the start, and I couldn't pick of the litter up anything on FM, and so had to restore it. After that, I would be loath to approve of a Timex again. This piece looks fantastic, and has a great sharp glowing spectacle, and loads of features, save pro the sound on it was everlastingly very poor. The radio on the first lone selected up a signal starting the clock, and there was a despondent hum over the speakers -- I may possibly tell this since when I fit the clock time and the spectacle was flashing off pro a short time, the hum went away. I also disliked that the CD player wouldn't completely shut off after a CD refined playing, unless I did so manually. The cherry in succession light would still be on. The radio was trying to tune, and drifted a ration, even if that may possibly be a conundrum of most analog tuners. A very disappointing piece, over all.
- C. M. Ellett "Nerd"

Fits of laughter nicely on a nightstand, has good-sized calculate spectacle (for us very effectively-sighted broadcast)and the scenery sounds are kind. Sorry to say, here is definitely a low hum appearance early the speakers as the telephone logic or CD are before a live audience. I be inflicted with timer radios early Timex and Sony with the intention of be inflicted with clear signal(the Timex has better telephone logic greeting for me) so I'm not ready to pocket see of a HUM for the added CD figure -It's being returned aptly now!

LEGO Kids' 9002151 Blue Plastic Alarm Brick Clock Shopper Reviews

It was a great buy for the fee. It goes well in his Lego theme opportunity and it has very simple buttons on the bottom to change the hours and alarm. The only thing I didnt like is it doesn't have the option to have the LED light on. It only turns on if you press it and it's in the other side of his bedroom which is a let-not effective. Maybe I'm a little old fashion keep for I like to reflect it over the time from any place in a opportunity lol.
- MsDash

Very nice alarm clock! Super cute and practically priced. Amazon everlastingly has the best prices. Greatly urge it. Diversity of sign.
- Jessica

We bought this for our son; who is 21 BUT a enormous "Lego" toddler in trade in the day - he unquestionably LOVED it...
- Happy Feet :-)

We love our Lego alarm clock. Not sure why the other reviewer had a hard time with setting the time and alarm, but it was just as easy as setting any other alarm clock. Ours works perfectly, and my boys really enjoy it(they're ages 5 & 7). The only thing I wish it had was a backlight that stayed on. It is backlit when you are setting the time or alarm, but it turns of shortly after and you are unable to see the time at night. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars.
- Anthony B. Welsh "Kari"

This extremely easy to use and nice, the snooze button is large and easy to use for kids. The materials really makes it look like a Lego block.
- Gustavo Villalobos

Seems to be water supply made, straightforward to curriculum. Fantastic design. Release gripe - boring clock radio signal. Missed opportunity for something extra interesting or kid (or kid at sensitivity) friendly.
- S. Bakkila "Sue B"

I purchased this timer so my kid (3, now 4) could tell when it was late ample to place his room in the daylight. We don't need an timer telephone logic gathering now, even if it would be nice to have the choice when the kid doesn't get up before sunrise...The way the timer works is that you have to excellent an timer telephone logic time, and the timer telephone logic is then set by pushing one of the buttons on the top of the timer, as a replacement for of flipping a switch bottom. So if my kid touches/the the boards with the timer at all, he will certainly turn on the timer telephone logic gathering inadvertently. The timer telephone logic signal is a loud unlikable beep, which lasts for a long time. Then we hear an inexorable beeping from his room, which is just plain unwelcome. I wish it was calculated another way.
- yellowstudio

I bought it for my grandson. It is cute but it was returned in check over of the fact with the intention of the in trade set alight didn't stopover on so couldn't see the calculate in the night.
- margene sims

Kids are lego crazy so thought this would be skilled. no cord, single runs on batteries. Easy on off for alarm, but setting time and alarm was tedious as button had difficulty involving...wouldn't buy it again.
- Shawn Fitz

I bought this since i love the design and i looked-for a new clock radio clock, and so far so skilled, it looks actually amazing, and it's not so loud and annoying

ONN CD Clock Radio with USB Device Charging Station Recent Reviews

I planning it would be splendid to be inflicted including an clock radio clock by my bed that would also charge my phone via usb. Sorry to say, the first time I plugged the unit in the display didn't bring about correctly. So, I had a cd player and usb charging station that was unquestionably no help in divulging me what time it is. Spend a modest more money and get something that works.
- adlm

Didn't last more than 2 months and had very complicated settings pro brainwashing wake and take a nap modes. Would by no means approve of this again.
- erigby53

I bought this from Walmart somewhere in April thinking that this will be the end all be all clock despite the missing headphone jack feature. There were some problems that I ran into such as reluctantly resetting the settings in the middle of the nighttime. And then this month, the clock stopped effective on me. By having a desolate light occur on including no LCD display made it completely useless for me.The before Clock radio Clock(including CD player, AM/FM, headphone Jack) that I be inflicted including from AudioVox, doesn't peek pretty but is soothe effective up to this day after buying it a couple of being ago. It's sad since I liked the digit display on it along including the features.I'm soothe looking for a dependable clock radio clock including a completely different type of digit display and at least a USB mount. Perhaps they don't be inflicted including such a thing but I haven't given up yet.

SpongeBob Clock Radio Shopper Reviews

Ordered this pro my child's birthday and it at home at this time very quickly! Product was exactly as described. Great pro any Spongebob fan! No need to discover a promote .. Single batteries are required pro this clock. My child loved the fact that it has the different alarm clock sounds, primarily the foghorn!!
- Laura Allen

The SpongeBob Alarm Clock was picked out by my 4.5 year old son. He viewed many on Amazon, and settled on this one. I was a little hesitant due to it's price tag, but he loved it so much, I resolute to purchase it.The clock is cute and squishy. It's lovable how SpongeBob pops up at the sound of the alarm. I like the blue backlit face. (You can adjust this setting...off, low, or high). I also like how the snooze goes off every 5 minutes, as opposed to a longer time between snoozes. Some downfalls...1. I cannot get the radio to operate. It does not function at all. I know that I could return the product due to this malfunction, but it isn't terribly important to me.2. If you are purchasing this as a 'first' alarm clock for a preschooler, beware. He/She may be scared of it, even though it is a beloved character. When the SpongeBob pops up, it in fact made me jump a bit. My son is a little weary of it being in his room.3. The instructions are so poorly written. The English grammar is quite hysterical. For example, here is a sentence written verbatim: "If set radio as alarm sound, alarm on keep last 15 minute."I would have agreed the alarm clock more stars if the price was about $20 less than it now is. Overall summary: not value $50+.
- kaf

The affect is extremely dull and not as depiction. You get a caution of choices for the timer touchtone phone logic signal, the touchtone phone logic doesn't bring about water supply for me, and I fancy the timer touchtone phone logic was louder. Oh and the promote is extremely gray...including the intention of business may maybe be a stick!!!!
- J. Dina "queenjuno"

I got this for my grandson for his birthday and he truly loves it. The "eyes" come up for him to push down as the alarm goes off, consequently he desires the alarm fit every nighttime. He likes getting up for preschool by himself.

Coby CXCB91 9 Band AM/FM ShortWave Radio Purchaser Reviews

Exceptional regard for the fee. I be fond of the digital facial appearance and the detail it can be old as a digital timer touchtone phone logic. Water supply satisfied including all aspects.
- Shelby W. Davis

This is the second non-workable COBY radio I purchased from Amazon this month. The clock and the display do not function, at all.COBY radios are total junk and selling them is cheating consumers.I will not return either radio (too much trouble) as a lesson to myself.DO NOT BUY COBY>Bring shame on on Amazon pro promotion this rank of cheating A dissipate of time items.
- loyal amazon customer 956

I be inflicted with an wide bring together of radios, tiny, standard, generous, analog, and digital. This telephone system is without a doubt the worst of the allocation. The greeting is so poor,it barely qualifies as a telephone system. I gave it dead, save pro doubtless must be inflicted with thrown it dead to save the extra owner the trouble.
- B. Pouliot

It is just so what I sought after, a very lightweight radio for hiking. It weighs almost nothing and is a great addendum to my hikes. It is not a world class receiver, but it is well worth the $10 I paid for it. It receives all I want to. FM is great but AM it can only receive close stations. SW so far so good. Just know what you are buying, it is a $10 radio and it is worth every penny. The clock and alarm work fine. Build quality is acceptable considering the price. Runs forever on a pair of NiMH batteries. Happy I bought it.
- NH Hiker

I be with you that you shouldn't guess a lot from the radio that lists under $15 but I judge that manufacturer must give up on the basic functionality. None of the short wave bands works, all you get is a lot of static and some distorted FM transmissions (yes, on SW band). Also, I've noticed that the the frequency bands don't stay on ordinary caucus, which could make some of them sweet a waste of time (if they were effective).I own numerous portable AM/FM/SW radios and, even if some of them have best SW greeting than others, I've never had an item that claims SW coverage but has none.On the clear note, AM/FM seems to be OK.
- VS

When I first got, I was happy that I got it along time ago. I opened the package and put 2 AA batteries in and started tuning around with it. During the day the frequencies were quite limited and I was lucky to hear approximately stations on the 19 meter band, the frequency range was the 49 Meter band to the 15 meter band, it did hear alot of shortwave signals on the 49 meter band. The one thing that is lacking is the 25 meter band 11.0 to 13.0 MHz, the 60 meter band 4.0 to 6.0 MHz. It's a very good portable shortwave radio to keep around and use for bandscanning.MW - 514 to 1726 kHz - AM Broadcast BandSW 1 - 5.47 to 6.69 MHz - 49 meter bandSW 2 - 6.69 to 7.57 MHz - 41 meter bandSW 3 - 8.37 to 9.50 MHz - 32 meter bandSW 4 - 9.52 to 10.88 MHz - 31 meter bandSW 5 - 13.08 to 16.45 MHz - 19 meter bandSW 6 - 14.85 to 18.40 MHz - 16 meter bandSW 7 - 19.99 to 23.65 MHz - 15 meter bandFM - 87.30 to 108.8 MHz - FM Broadcast Band I would highly recommend that you get a wire antenna for this radio to hear shortwave radio signals. The disadvantage is the AM band, someone in China did not tune the AM band properly so signals on 10 kHz is 15 kHz which means that 790 kHz is 795 kHz, 1050 kHz is 1055 kHz. The FM band works really good, but it does hear most local signals, but 100.5 FM is flow of blood approximately parts of the band. This shortwave radio is a great starter radio, but I would recommend you get a genuine shortwave radio with continous coverage. This radio only receives passionate and weak shortwave signals on the assigned international broadcast bands. If you use a wire antenna you will not have a problem receiving signals from all over the world.UPDATE : I was using the radio to tune FM stations after replacing the batteries, then the knob started coming loose and stopped tuning. I opened it up and found out that thestring came rancid the wheel. This happened with the second one before, this is terriblewhy it came loose. It was a good radio receiver, I don't know if I will buy another one. Please occur up with a different tuning configuration and then I'll think about itit's not a dial type radio, you don't call for strings attached.
- A. Ebel "gccradioscience"

This radio is observably what you are held to get for the price. It works but has to some extent bad greeting, it seeems like he just likes to work on some spots. Also, the case is opening in two pieces....
- L. Torres

I'm generally a fan of Coby in the cheap radio market, but this one was disappointing. The radio didn't work first try, but it did after I removed and re-installed the batteries. Then I found that the "Off" button didn't work. I pressed it a couple dozen times and it finally went off, but I had to press it really hard. The tuning knob was so far off center that the ribbing around the knob grated on the case at some places on the dial. Even though the radio has "feet" it wobbled. The battery door was loose.FM performance was good. AM performance was bad including a lot of noise rough buzzing. I didn't get much on shortwave, but it was daytime and I wouldn't expect much. The tiny tuning knob was next to impracticable to tune for shortwave, and the tuning light was mostly useless. So it's OK for a digital recite FM radio, but if that's all you want, I'd go including the Coby CX50 Compact AM/FM Radio including Digital Display, silver.
- Kevin Davidson

For such a low price this tiny 9 multiband radio works fine. Needs to be outside for better reception. Easy to use.

I mean what do you guess in a $10 shortwave touchtone phone logic? Not much.Abridged: The touchtone phone logic is now promotion for very near $30. This is ludicrous. DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO AT THIS PRICE.I place of safeguard't used mine a lot, so it hasn't worn out like persons of additional reviewers, but it's observably cheaply made. The further than edge of the off-crucial top tuning knob grates on the case (I guess I may maybe take a knife to the case). The buttons are poor. It just screams CHEAP.Normal facts are weak. It has a conundrum with descriptions, stations from one place on the dial appearing on a additional. If all you want to dissipate is $10 I infer this touchtone phone logic is as good as any in that price array, but I question what good you'd get from a touchtone phone logic of this feature, particularly with the intelligence of it contravention easily. Maybe you may maybe find a in tears at a frugality pile. I can't think off hand, of any shortwave receiver I may maybe urge in this price array. For $20, you can get the Kaito WRX-911 AM/FM Shortwave Touchtone phone logic, Blue which is a much best touchtone phone logic both in construction and normal. That one isn't a throwaway like the Coby.

Kaito Electronics Inc. KA1101 Digital AM/FM/SW World Receiver Buyer Reviews

The Kaito 1101, since "replaced" by the Kaito 1102 and, even more recently, the Kaito 1103, differs only in small ways. The volume control is a spin dial, no buttons, but beyond that it's the same radio. In fact at this time in LA I can get the weak 103.1 FM on my Kaito 1101 but I can't get it in very well on my Kaito 1102, leading me to reconcile that quality control tends to bring variability. I've also heard from friends in the radio industry that the 1103, which gets stuck in certain frequency zones, is a pain in the [...] to use. So for a small PLL synthesized dual-conversion radio, you're getting top quality for half the price in the Kaito 1101. If size isn't a thing and you don't call for presets, you'll get even greater reception with the Tecsun BLC 2000, which is a superior version of its more expensive, bug-plagued clone, the Grundig S350. But for portability and presets, the Kaito 1101 is the best of its kind, better, for develop, than the more expensive Sangean 505 and 606, and just as good as the more expensive Sony 7600.Post Script: I subsequently purchased the Kaito 1103, which has even more outstanding FM sensitivity than the very impressive 1101. However, the 1103 costs about 40 dollars more and is more difficult to operate.

I was in the market for a small portable shortwave telephone logic, and after doing consideral research I decided to approve of this item. It twisted out to be a great scale. It is very sensitive on FM and SW just be fond of all the reviews confirmed. Though it got just an OK review on AM sensitivity. I found this to be a very sensitive AM telephone logic. I pick of the litter up a telephone logic station in Cleveland OH at nighttime, Cleveland is about 500 miles away starting me. Another reason I chose this telephone logic is because all the reviews kept mentioning how intricate the Kaito KA 1102 and 1103 were. The KA 1101 is a snap to aid. Memory presets are straightforward to fit up. There are 10 presets per band. Choose your band ie AM/FM/FML/SW1/SW2 secure the memory button and then pick of the litter a specific numer 1-9. That's it. Unadorned. I have no idea why a name would display that they could possibly not figure it out and gave it a 1 star rating. Construction is also very good, I had a little conundrum dying the battery door, save for it was insignificant. Put the rechargeable batteries in(included) Charge them and you don't have to keep notch the battery compartment. They charge in the telephone logic via the included AC adapter/mount. Outstanding telephone logic for the fee. It's size, which I was looking for makes it an ideal travel telephone logic. Approve of the Kaito KA 1101 if your looking for a feature, straightforward to aid telephone logic. Release drawback is that it does not have SSB.

I bought the Kaito 1101 in Distinguished 2005, and found that it played adequately, if unexceptionally. Signal and sensitivity were decent, but not better. The user interface is unintuitive and the manual near incomprehensible, even if that didn't bother me much. My at the start problem was that the radio refused to charge up the rechargeable batteries that come with it. A call to Kaito yielded this advice: use a dedicated battery mount. The 1101 is able to keep batteries charged up once they have an initial charge, I was told, but is unable to charge batteries that have zero charge. So I used a separate mount, and this seemed to work, even if I found it odd that they would sell a radio that is advertised to charge its batteries but is incapable of responsibility so. And even with they are charged the batteries run down very fast. With about ten months, the radio simply refused to play, even using AC contemporary. Since it was soothe under warranty, I shipped it back and received a replacement radio. Three months later (just additional than the one-year warranty period) the replacement radio failed in just so the same way -- it simply bunged producing any signal on any of its bands. I have now decided that it's compost time for this cut of junk, and time to get a radio that works. In 2006, how hard can it be to make a decent radio?
- Marc Cohen

With enjoying the superb greeting on the Kaito 1103 but not enjoying the deactivate-intuitive control buttons, I decided to invest in the Kaito 1101 since of the exceptional reviews. Here is my comparison:Regard: The 1101 is an incredible regard. This is a lot of radio for the price. The 1103 is well worth its cost but the 1103 has more features.Signal: The 1103 wins, hands down, with its larger lecturer and fuller signal. The 1101 is good but following-rate sounding to the 1103.Ease of use: Yikes! How can Kaito get so much aptly with greeting and so much wrong with ergonomics? The 1103 has the least intutive volume control of any radio I have ever seen. The 1101 has the dial volume control aptly below the moving belt - it is nearly impossible not to get trapped up with one when by the other. The power pin on the 1101 is near the median of the front panel - not on the far aptly where you would expect to find it. Try fiddling for it without looking. The moving belt is on the top aptly - bad scale. The ac partaking is on the aptly side - must be on the left. These radios are so deactivate-intuitive to use. That is so sad since they have splendid greeting:Greeting: This is where Kaito excels. Splendid FM, above average AM, Splendid Shortwave. These radios are hot receivers! The 1101 is very near to the 1103 as far as greeting goes. I do detect a affront improvement in the 1103 but not enough to make much of a variation for the user.Which one must you get? The 1101 is smaller and more compact and is about 40$ less than the 1103. The 1103 has better signal. Any way, you are vacant to have to deal with the bizarre but insignificant tuning. volume, preset, ergonomics issues. Well worth the price but may be frustrating to someone who just wants to turn it on and take note. The blue-collar is in poor English that barely makes implication but you can figur eit all out in about 15 outline if you are patient.

Kaito KA1101 - Worldband radioBottom lines first: I am neither audiophile nor shortwaver/DXer, rather someone who wanted a decent-sounding, easy-to-operate, small-as-possible radio for FM and AM news and music broadcasts, albeit with an eye headed for dabbling in shortwave to see if there was enough there to develop a semi-serious interest in. I did a lot of research, including reading around extensively in Passport to World Band Radio, the bible of this activity, and other online sites. Based on what I read, the KA1101 delivered the best performance for the buck, and it offered excellent reception in all bands, including world band. So I figured that even if the shortwave thing didn't pan out that I would still have a solid FM/AM radio. After a month of use, I can say that the KA1101 is a superb little package, one that lived up to, or exceeded, every expectation. FM reception is outstanding, ditto AM reception. Every station, even the tricky to get local all-classical station, occur in clear and clean and crisp. As for signal, well it's not Bose, but for such a tiny lecturer it's really pretty impressive, and the stereo signal through the earpieces that occur with the radio is not bad at all.As for shortwave, I've played around with it just using the built-in retractable antenna and managed to get quite a few broadcasts, mainly in the evening and mainly on the 49 meter (5800-6200 or so) range: Radio Netherlands, Radio Habana, approximately odd music, a UFO government conspiracy station, 10 minutes of Bob Dylan, a reading from Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World", a discussion of a "colon-cleansing Holy tea", assorted news/culture/music bits. It's kinda fun, though from what I understand, we on the west coast are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to shortwave reception. Outside the 49 meter band, the pickings have been slim, but I do latch onto something worth a few minutes of listening time now and then. Keep in mind, I have no expertise at this time and am just flipping around to see what I occur up with. I'm sure that SW reception would improve, perhaps significantly, with an external antenna, but I'm not quite there yet. In the interim, shortwaving in the evening using just the built-in has so far been an enjoyable little adventure. And I can carry the radio around with me in the daylight and evening, then put it down wherever I end up by using the flip-down stand on the backside. What else? The build quality is quite good, the whole package having a well-made, solid feel to it. The buttons are signal and "clicky" (you never have to guess whether you've pushed one) and I like the positioning of the turning up and down buttons that are arranged in a little semi-group in the lower aptly hand confront and, for me, seem perfectly positioned for using my thumb on when I am holding the radio. Plenty of presets with 10 per band (and totally easy to use), easy direct access, Large and Narrow band switch to use for difficult to tune-in stations. Everything about operating this radio is intuitive and quickly mastered. The retractable antenna seems a bit fragile, and I did manage to break rancid the tip by apparently approaching back down when it wasn't perfectly straight (phoned KaitoUsa and for $10 they are sending me a replacement).Last week, I bought a pair of Sennheiser 202 headphones and have to say that using these is a HUGE improvement in stereo signal quality, almost a concert hall signal when listening to classical music. Greatly superior to the ear buds that occur with the radio. No matter how long I charge the NiMH batteries, the logo always shows only 2/3 full, but from other reports I've read this is apparently the norm for this radio. Whatever, almost a month later and they are still running on the initial charge, this on 1+ hours of use per day.All in all, this has to be the best AM/FM/SW package out there ($52.95 is what I paid through amazon which routed the sale frankly through KaitoUSA in Monclair, CA).
- Douglas C. Rennie "Rainguy"

Very impt. The 1101 does not have SSB getting capability. The 1102 does.So in that watch it is a very uncommon telephone logic for persons who want to hear Ham telephone logic.
- Edward Richardson

The Kaito KA1101 is worth compelling time to urge. I was specifically in the promote for the smallest available AM/FM/SW receiver including feature performance mainly in the SW bands. The consensus of addict reviews articulated favorable ratings of this element, flush as stuck-up to its siblings---the extra pricey KA1102 and KA1103 (when comparing capabilities annotation including the intention of the KA1101 does not pocket in SSB while its stablemates do). The Amazon purchase fee (April 2008) for the KA1101 was $59.95. The diplomacy was processed surrounded by 24 hours and the package indoors three living ahead of its scheduled manner of language date including emancipated super-saver shipping from the distributor in NV.The box contained the receiver, AC adaptor, three rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) AA batteries, stereo earbuds, a 15-bottom outdoor wire craft's mast, defending gentle explanation and directions in English. My at the initiation impression was regular including other reviewers who establish the murky-bleak receiver to be extremely compact and solidly built including a nourishing heft. The battery screened-off area entrance is attached to the explanation so it won't fall off and get at sea. Not noticeable in the Amazon product marketing photos are the 29-creep/73cm collapsable craft's mast craft's mast including the intention of pivots and folds off the top gone of the element and a permanently-mounted wrist strap attached to the top aptly confront.I live in an vicinity everywhere radio greeting is odd. The KA1101's performance was a quantum improvement ended an Eton S350DL on all bands and sensitivity is adjusted by a two-position sliding switch (Community/DX). The 2.5-creep (66mm) lecturer was a splendid sounding room-filler considering its mass. The Kaito earbuds were passable but a duo of Bose TriPort IEs gave full and wholesome signal lacking hums, creaks, squeaks or whistles including the intention of are symptomatic of a cut-rate amount of-water supply-designed receiver and potential supply circuitry. Audio tone is proscribed by a two-position sliding switch (Composition/Hearsay). Kind surprises were a pin/keypad ponytail gathering and an ambient set alight feeler including the intention of moderates the spectacle illumination. The battery charging logic appeared to gathering as designed and is switched on by a couple of pin pushes. One potentially disastrous blunder for a austere literalist is the addict's blue-collar's directive to promote the 120 VAC potential converter into a 220VAC outlet. There has been criticism including the intention of the battery meter does not trade show a full payment when rechargeable batteries are installed. This is addressed in the blue-collar which states including the intention of the meter will release trade show 2/3 when the rechargeable cells are topped off. This makes sense as the NiMH AA cells are rated at 1.2VDC, not 1.5VDC as in disposable cells; on a extent everywhere 4.5VDC is analogous to 100%, the voltmeter reflects the total available voltage, 3.6VDC including fully-exciting NiMH rechargeables vs. 4.5VDC including disposables. To me, the bottom outline of a radio is its cleverness to receive announce signals and provide feature audio productivity. Ergonomics and brainwashing functions are relation to individual inclination and encounter. I establish the KA1101 uncluttered and austere to run. The clock is 24-hour release but as I set mine on GMT including the intention of is not a liability. The wrist strap including the intention of approximately discover annoying can straightforwardly be removed including a clip of approximately nail clippers. The black vinyl moving explanation is austerely including the intention of: a austere pocket in only to care for the radio from damage during transport or storage space, not designed for use while the element is before a live audience.I was looking for a compact, multi-band element and the KA1101 is huge in this watch. For a name in quest of an outstanding receiver in this category I'd beyond disbelief urge it.
- John Sugimoto

This telephone logic beats my others for F.M. reception. Including great sensitvity and selectivity, I'm competent to get on to a allocation of the weaker and unsociable stations. The shortwave has great sensitivity too, copy to the Sony 7600gr. I did my evaluation including WWV made known of Fort Collins Colorado on the same night, and in cooperation radios receivedit extremely plainly. The A.M. desires improvement, keep for I do get on to travelable night reception. Over all this is a great telephone logic for the cash!
- Taylor Harrell "J.T. Harrell"

I purchased this radio so I may maybe get on to a hard-to-pull in FM rank that I be fond of to take annotation to. With the built-in FM/shortwave ship's mast, the greeting was best than I had hoped (it's noticably best than with the telescoping ship's mast). The digital PLL tuning is nice since I don't be inflicted with to fiddle with the tuning bulge. I can only punch in the frequency I want, and then not worry in this vicinity drift or tuning hostile rejoinder or any of the additional tribulations that plague analog tuners.Pro potential, this radio comes with an AC adapter (which adds no blast to the greeting, unlike the GE Superadio III which has a built-in potential give) and rechargable NiMH batteries, and a built-in charging trail. Or you can use fixed AA batteries. Also built-in are a reside in belt, FM/shortwave wire radio, earbud headset, and a leather-be fond of transportation explanation. Unfortunately, the explanation only has opportunity pro the radio and not any of the built-in frills. The radio covers the AM band (520-1710 kHz), shortwave (3-26 MHz, keep pro approximately frequencies are blocked), and FM and decrease FM (70-108 MHz). Unfortunately, this means it only receives TV channels 5 and 6, keep pro that's two extra channels than this radio is advertised to receive. There's a Community/DX thrash and a Composition/Talk tone thrash. In FM you can thrash between Stereo and Mono, and in AM between Narrow and Wideband greeting.Unfortunately, you be inflicted with to read the education booklet to conspire made known how to turn off the take a nap timer, fit memories, fit the frequency using the digit pad, and check the time when the radio is on. In additional words, it isn't as intuitive as it may maybe be. The blue-collar is easy enough to read, keep pro the top is you shouldn't be inflicted with to.A further come forth is the unremitting amplifier mock through the earphone jack awaited to the low-cost built-in earphone amplifier. It's most noticeable when you be inflicted with the volume turned not working. Though, the audio through the outline made known jack is fair. I've read that the amplifier in the Sony 7600GR is best, keep pro that radio isn't low-cost.Am I pleasurable I bought this radio? Unquestionably! The feature is above norm and it has the facial appearance I was looking pro, at a very skilled price. It isn't iPod or TiVo exact, keep pro you can't do best pro a radio under $100.
- Derek Hofmann

I am impressed with the Kaito KA1101 touchtone phone logic, it comes packed with regard and normal. The directions are easy to stay on and the normal compares opportunely with my Grundig Yachtboy 400. The built in charging gathering is a real plus. This modest gem is a real bargin.

Kaito Electronics Inc. KA1101 Digital AM/FM/SW World Receiver

The Kaito KA1101 is a dual conversion portable radio casing AM/FM and Short Wave. The special designed PLL circuit has a very distinguished sensitivity and despondent blast levels. Thanks to the dual conversion technology, the KA1101 has a super sensitive radio bands. AM coverage is starting 522 - 1710 kHz. The AM reception is impressive. It is able to pick of the litter up weak signals very well. The FM band covers 70.0 - 108 MHz (counting the Japanese FM band and Russian FM band, if traveling in these areas). The FM reception is overall reasonably skilled. The SW frequency covers starting 3000 to 26100 kHz in two bands, SW1 and SW2. However, the short wave is what makes the KA1101 shines. We bought this so with the intention of speakers can look into calculate visibly. Perfectly fortunate to be inflicted with this, it is very astute and can be seen early 100 ft. and possibly extra!

You have to see this digital time cut to be thankful for its size - two feet in part. Here's not much citations that comes with the timer, just a page with bare bones in rank for background the date and time. Even as I background the facts, I noticed they were by now assess; the date was spot on, and the time was just a link outline off. cute amazing. I have the timer plugged into a vessel with a wall batter for the time life; it'll eventually be on the screened in overhang.I've twisted off the batter a few era for five or ten little intervals. When I turn the potential back on, the time comes back to the assess time reluctantly. The timer is easy to set and easy to hang or spot on a desk. The cord is very fleeting, but it would be easy to glue an additional room for a longer get to. With the red digital facts visibility is exceptional.I reflect this timer may maybe be a good addendum for a affair, I don't know in its lobby or an personnel. In fact any generous room that may maybe use the addendum of a high visibility timer would financial help by having one of these clocks installed.
- Spudman

At last - a clock I can read while I'm in stump and be inflicted with my my glasses off or see starting the additional side of my family tree room in sharp sunlight..The facts are crisp and clear the brightness level is just aptly. It NEVER loses time, even when unplugged. It can hang on the wall or sit on a table.I be inflicted with to admit it IS a modest sharp pro a bedroom as it glows almost be fond of a nightlight.

If you are desiring to check over this clock from additional than 25-30 feet, you will not be competent to. Perhaps it is the blue LED. We returned it and purchased a red LED clock and it can viewed clearly from 40'.

Bought it for my gym it's HUGE I can see it from the additional side of the opportunity while effective out, kind clock and extremely unadorned to setup.Thank you

One of the things that always frustrated people I worked with who had limited or low vision, was how to tell time. I purchased discussion clocks, which could now and again be a tad irritating. We'd be discussion and all of a sudden we'd get *the* announcement, a computerized announcement that could be rather annoying at times. Mind you, this clock looks like something that could be at a track meet, but it serves the purpose. The 3" LED numerical display comes in either blue or red (I have the blue). Try out out the measurements before buying. Now, if you try out around, Sears is asking greatly more for this very same clock so this is actually a bargain. This clock was already set when I received it. It does have a memory chip (atomic?) that has one advantage I find especially appealing. If the power goes out, you don't have to reset it. It's quite easy to set using three simple A, B, C buttons on the rear of the clock. The cord is not overly long, a fact that many people appreciate. If your plug is not close to where you want it, simply use an extension cord.FEATURES:** Easy to read 3" LED display for those with limited or low vision.** Uses standard household current.** Flashing colons which assist with viewing the hour, minutes, and seconds display.** AM/PM are displayed to the left of the time (1/2" high).** Can be displayed on any flat go up or hung on a roadblock (toggle bolts are included).** The LED display is clearly visible both during the day and at night.** AC adapter included.DIMENSIONS:8" H x 23 1/8" L x 2 3/8" D (20.32cm x 58.73cm x 6.03cm)This is a nice, minimalist clock that would be a definite aid to those who call for it. Naturally, this clock could also be used in any area that would have call for for a larger LED time display. This LED is easily visible both during the daylight and nighttime hours.Sample provided by the distributor.

This is a great clock for the right room, be it recreational or personnel. The digits are sharp and clear and the progressive seconds make it above all fun. I brought mine into our personnel and broadcast love it - so far. It's very easy to set and if it becomes unplugged or the power goes out, it remembers the assess time (due to a reminiscence chip). The smaller AM and PM are still easily legible, even in the sunlight or sharp room. In a dark room, it practically lights up the space.I did not care much for the cord, but in the right background, it shouldn't topic and batteries do run out (always at the worst time). Even if, it is frivolous for wall hanging and broadcast really notice it. It's also wide ample at 2"-1/4" that it can be set on a flat go up. This would make a great gift as well. This manufactured goods was munificently full to me for a fair and reliable assess.
- Martin A Hogan "Marty From SF"

This is a very large clock, over two feel long. Very nice, bright blue numbers are clearly visible from quite a distance. The colons between the hours, minutes and seconds blink for each second quick. The clock comes with a close approximation of the correct time but it was very easy to set and has the option of a 24 hour clock setting or 12 hour (with an AM/PM indicator). The clock does not have the option of running on batteries and I don't think I'd want to keep changing them out anyway. It comes with mounting screws and anchors. This is a great clock for a business, gym, workout room, recreational hall, bingo hall, etc. The promise are endless since it has such great visibility and clarity.I was provided a unit for evaluation and an honest review.
