I reconcile there are 4 set alight levels that can be chosen, and you can choose to have the nightlight or not. If the nightlight is on it reflects the same level as the display. I chose to have it rancid.* FM Reception: This gets much better reception than my previous clock.Second the "meh" parts:* The speakers are not bad for alarm clock speakers... but they are still obviously alarm clock speakers.* The tuning and volume nobs could use an indentation to make them easier to turn. As they are you can't comfortably push to turn, but there's not quite enough to grasp to turn either. They aren't dreadful, but they could be better.* If you want to snooze, and you hit the snooze button then you are good to go. If you miss and hit approximately other button then the alarm turns OFF. I haven't missed yet, but I can see how this might be a problem on a very early, groggy daylight.Finally the bad parts:* Auto time set just didn't work, and not just because of a time zone. That would have been a nice touch on the HX-B440 Cube. Even if, appealing to note that the Cube does not have a docking rank, which is in fact a good thing compelling into account that most broadcast have cases on their phones that preclude docking! With the Cube you get a USB port you can use to payment your phone; works great, but it's a bit slow to payment over a wall charger.Trying to set up Bluetooth with my iPhone 4 I had a bit of a conundrum with the directions, which state "Use the Fund pin on the Cube to excellent Bluetooth." It doesn't work. You have to excellent POWER first, and then press SOURCE to toggle to Bluetooth. Once I did that I corresponding my iPhone quickly. My partner didn't have any conundrum any. I was able to use the Audio Jack line with the iPad to run it through the clock and it worked fine; guess we'll just have to do that.The clock itself is great, I think, very sleek and small. Thankfully this clock has large facts that I can see plainly.It has three modes of brightness for the nightlight, but it's actually noneffective; just use it as a cool back light for your clock.The dials and buttons are nice, but the dial pin for sound and rank selection is a bit trying to spin at times. The buttons are a bit small, too, and it's trying to tell which pin is which in the dark. I wish there was back lighting on the top buttons.Pulling in AM and FM stations worked great and I had no troubles with that. You can point up to 12 stations using the MEMORY pin.You can back and forwards through your song selections using the buttons on the clock.Of course there's sleep mode, alarm clocks, and doze.Amazon's website says the Cube has six scenery sounds. I couldn't find it. Nor do the directions or box state that it has this map. So don't expect those scenery sounds when you purchase this clock.Number power is very good, it's amazingly loud for a modest clock radio.By and large this is a nice sleek clock radio that I actually like! Disappointed that it wouldn't pair with our iPad 2, even if (anyone else encounter this issue?).I actually urge this clock, it's sweet darn nice.

All on the timer was good except that the volume could not be set for the alarm so as you wake up in the daylight, the touchtone phone logic blasts you out of bed. Even if you set the touchtone phone logic volume to low, the alarm ignores this and sets it to the maximum volume. Makes this alarm timer worthless. I returned mine.
