I liked the looks of this develop, and the big numbers on the timer, save pro the projection had a mentality of its confess! It worked fair the initially two nights - including including the intention of it would now and again turn on, now and again not - if I got it on, then it force go off in a hour or so, and maybe come back on several hours later. Including almost a week it just quit absolutely - not anything would get it on! My husband told me not to buy an Emerson! I must have listened to him - then I wouldn't have had to restore it. Don't dissipate your cash - buy a better feature strain even if it expense a allocation more!

I bought this Emerson projection clock in August. I immediately loved the projection feature - no extra rolling over to see what calculate it is and no extra sleep interuptions as my husband props himself up to preview over me and check the clock! But, our joy was short-lived. The LED display on the initially clock bunged working after 2 days and wouldn't keep calculate. I took it back to the store and exchanged it for a further. The following clock was broken out of the box - the projection never worked. I exchanged it again (I REALLY liked the clock's features!) and the 3rd one worked fine for in this area 6 months. But last night we realized the projection was blocked on 11:03. As I rolled over, the LED was not displaying the calculate. I unplugged it and as I plugged it back in I got no lights at all, only a loud clicking noise. It's certainly dead this calculate! I am so disappointed. I did get all 3 clocks from the constant store so maybe it was a bad batch, but we also purchased 2 Emerson Smartset CD clock radios just. The initially one had a out of order LED display after 2 days so we returned it. 2 months shortly the CD player on the 2nd one bunged working. The point? Our experience with Emerson harvest foliage greatly to be greatly loved. 5 defective clocks in 6 months is completely improper. This particular projection clock has great features and is awesome as it works. The LED is a modest too astute even on low, but you get old to it and it can dual as a night light. But we are going to be looking for a projection clock owing to by a further company. My husband didn't grasp with the intention of our projection clock and the CD telephone logic clock were all owing to by Emerson. As I told him he said "Oh, if I had known with the intention of I would be inflicted with told you not to buy it, their stuff is a waste of time items". Example learned!

I spent loads of hours reviewing projection timer/radios on amazon and newegg. The tribulations i proverb the world ended, regaurdless of the fee of the units were: the projection isnt sharp sufficient, the timer telephone system is not loud sufficient, and the timer telephone system doesnt be inflicted with the aptly settings. This to me earnings that the fee of the unit will not boost these tribulations pro various reasons. I also do not call for the superfluous facial appearance be fond of the open-air temp or the weekly forecast(which look not to work most of the time anyways). So i chose to discover a timer that release had what i looked-for: TIME, ALARM, RADIO, AND PROJECTION. So i set made known to discover the most solid, unadorned, and most excellent priced unit that had all these facial appearance. I refined up upshot this unit. Not the most striking, not the most Hi-tech, save pro it seems the most dependable and had clad reviews all almost.THE PROJECTION on this timer works fine, you can start to think it over it some time ago aim of the day comes, save pro does not become apparent until the TV or Pad Watch in the opportunity is turned sour pro the night. It will wait apparent on your wall or ceiling until in this vicinity 8AM or so, unless you be inflicted with foggy or thick curtains do absolutely take in your windows. It swivels 180 degrees, and has a blue-collar focus to aid get on to sure the time is visibly projected. No complaints with this conspire.THE ALARM starts very very silent and then crescendos. If you are by currently wide awake, you will at the start ask for yourself if you actually heard it it is so calm down. It then at a snail's pace, crescendos to a skilled justly loud tone, it can beyond doubt wake me any time of the week, and i call for a loud timer telephone system to wake up. If this is still not loud sufficient pro you, the telephone system timer telephone system can be set at whatever volume you gone it at. Also, it has 2 alarms, lone pro Mon-Fri, and lone pro the weekend which can be set pro uncommon times. I be fond of this conspire, save pro wish it would consent to me each following income, ie. Mon, Wed, Fri. If not, no complaints here.THE RADIO works fine. Even if i wouldnt mentality it life digital, the bulge seems insightful sufficient and finds all of my telephone system stations fine. The speakers are clad, not anything special, save pro dont distort until the telephone system is louder than you would always mess about it on a unadorned timer/telephone system.THE AUTO TIME SET wasnt assess when i got it, save pro this didnt topic. It sets in in this vicinity 15 seconds, then i adjusted it a release just any summary and that was that. When i had to unplug it to step it, it came in trade to the adjusted time which was lovely. The Time and Time were assess though.OVERALL im very pleased. unit works well, and i recieved a silver lone.. which in detail looks greatly surpass than the aqua painted lone pictured. Tt seems solid, not too generous, with skilled facial appearance. Id display it packs in this vicinity the most dependable punch pro its fee. If you dont be fond of alot of set alight in your opportunity at night, the time cover may be a piece sharp pro you even when its dummed.

Wretched, save for we originally purchased one for ourselves we loved it and still do! So we ordered 6 more for Christmas gifts. Everyone loved their gift, and they were great for possibly one month, then one by one the LED would go out. A upset we loved, twisted out to be a bummer gift! Out of the 6 purchased, 2 are still effective.

This clock is really awesome. I like how you can set two alarms-one can be music, both can be music, one can be a beeping, or both can toot. I also like the projection feature. The only thing I am disappointed in is with the intention of my supporter just got one with three colors on the screen, and mine only has one. Keep for hey, if you like red, it is great!

I knew that I wanted an clock that sets itself reluctantly and one that projected on to the ceiling. But there were so many choices! So, I took my usual deal with, initiation with the smallest amount expensive and if that doesn't fit the need, initiation moving up the price scale.Well, no need to move up the price scale with this hold. The SmartSet technology is excellent - I will never buy a additional clock without it (but then I am kinda ridiculous about meaningful the rigorous time). The facts are large and easy to read from across the room and it is nice having two alarms with the ability to set a Monday-Fri clock radio on #1 and a weekend clock radio on #2. And the projection facility fine - I was worried at first since the image was being projected upside down and I planning the Emerson persons had somehow misunderstood how the product was most likely to be used, but then I establish the reverse image switch. Now when I wake up in the midpoint of the night, no more being paid up and straining to see the time on my wife's clock - assuming it didn't get pushed out of my line of notice. Now I just look at the ceiling and it is easily read. One very very happy customer - the only caveat is that I just got the clock and don't know how long all this joy will last :).

I tried a additional projection clock telephone logic clock and had to yield up on it because the clock telephone logic was unreliable and the projection was too astute. This clock was what I fancy I had establish in the first house. What I kindness in this vicinity it:*Smart fit -- sets itself in less than a little and you know the calculate is assess.*Projection -- different affect settings and is flexible for focus and management. Spectacle is apparent on the ceiling and isn't too astute.*Dual clock telephone logic can be fit according to income of the week. Never has to be reset -- it will go bitter the same calculate each calculate/weekend or in cooperation.*Doze pin easy to discover in dark (we aid including the intention of conspire several era a daylight!).*Generous spectacle including dimmer.*Clad sound on telephone logic. This is the most excellent clock telephone logic clock I've always used. I vastly urge it. Beware, though, because the clock telephone logic is constantly fit (can be twisted bitter including switch on in trade), the doze release facility for an hour!

This assess refers to the CKS3528 develop, which I purchased from Amazon's partner, Target. The only variation between my develop and this one is that the timer projection has a selectable affect filter on the CKS3528. This unit programmed here does not.I purchased this timer for the large digit spectacle and projection functions. So far both are effective out reasonably nicely. The spectacle is not too sharp at nighttime, when the dimmer is set to low. It is soothe reasonably readable in a lit room. The projection is too dim to read if the room is lit, but it works nicely in the dark. I am shortsighted, but I have no problem reading the ceiling spectacle with my glasses off at nighttime. I'd guess the digits are about 10 inches high on my ceiling. The projection is also not so sharp that it illumination up the room or keeps me wide awake. The smart set gathering is little more than a point internal timer that lives off a lithium battery when it is not plugged in. The manual says the battery will last 3 being even if the unit is never plugged in, and must last 5+ being when used normally. The timer allows you to change the time settings yourself (if you like your timer 5-10 minutes fast, or if the time ever drifts) and the internal memory will keep the new time setting. This is a nice improvement over the RCA version that I replaced, which had drifted about 2 minutes off and could not be corrected. The timer knows 7 era zones: Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Yukon, and Hawaiian. Since you can change the internal time memory anyway, I presume it would be sweet easy to use this in any zone and just fix the time budge once. However, the timer obeys the 2007 US daylight savings time rules: starting 2nd Sunday of March, ending 1st Sunday of November. There does not grow to be a way to turn DST off. So, if your state or public does not follow these rules, you'll have to change the time or timezone each time the DST changes do not contest your area. The radio is set by an analog dial. The dial indicator illumination up when the timer is plugged in, but it's soothe not easy to tell by the spectacle what channel number you have set. It doesn't seem to drift very naughtily, but my select wake-up rank is sweet strong in my area. I'd have ideal a digital tuner. There are two alarms. Each can be set to wake by timer or radio. Each alarm can be set to run for 7-days, 5-days (Mon-Fri), or 2-days (Sat-Sun). The timer alarms wake by buildup, that is, they start faintly and boost in volume. I can't comment on how loud they get, since I don't use timer alarms. The wake by radio gathering works nicely, coming on frankly to the volume that you have point. To turn off the timer alarms, you have to find one of the tiny (1) or (2) alarm buttons among the many on top of the unit. To turn off the radio alarm, you can also hit the much larger Radio On/Off button on the right end of the unit. The doze button is large and easy to find in the midpoint. Doze is fixed at 9 minutes.I urge this timer to anyone who likes to wake up to a radio, and who lives in a US timezone following the new DST rules. My only gripe is the lack of a digital radio tuner.

My protect had been using a "discussion clock" next to her bed, but began difference of opinion what the clock was adage and was being paid up in the midpoint of the night thinking it was time to rise and shine. So I bought this for her thinking the subtle projected time on the wall or ceiling would be best. She loves it. And even closes her curtains and door so she can turn the projector on when she takes a nap.The projected time does work well and the light it emits is not intrusive at all. The additional neat business is that the clock resets itself reluctantly if it's unplugged or if the potential is interrupted. No before a live audience with buttons to get it right. On the downside: the radio is barely passable, as one force estimate, and the glow from the digital sight, even when dimmed, is bright and does illuminate at smallest amount part of the room. The develop my protect has is black with blue digital sight which I planning force have been fainter than red. She has resorted to introduction something over it to try out the glow. Having to do this doesn't bother her. It would me.But if you can live with an iffy radio and a bright digital sight, the projection feature of this clock is splendid and value the price of admission. If the radio feature is important to you, additional choices may be best.

When the clock radio arrived, it already had a low battery warning indicator on. A new lithium battery cost $7, but it was subdue cheaper than return shipping, so I bought the battery. That wiped out any savings over purchasing the element locally. The smartset feature is a nice idea, however it was programmed about two minutes slow. You can adjust it, but once the power goes out and comes in trade on, you have to adjust it again. The projection feature is extremely nice, projecting generous numbers on the ceiling. Extremely easy to see in most dim to dark light conditions. So far after about a month of running, the clock seems to be keeping extremely good time. The weekday/weekend alarm function is extremely handy, as is having two alarms. The sound feature of the radio is fair, at best, but this isn't a touch that concerns me. I only listen to talk radio and have a stereo system in my bedroom if I want to listen to music.All-in-all, I would buy it again, but locally to assure the battery is new.UPDATE: I have had the clock nearly a year now and have had a few power outages. Each time, the clock has come in trade on and reset itself to the proper time and date including no problems at all. Also, I love the projection onto my ceiling. Extremely easy to read.
