This is a actually nice clock, as other reviewers have said. I won't do again the generic explanation about its qualities since they are very true.I don't know if mine was a defective model, but last night, the hands went out of alignment. First, I noticed that the clock was an hour ahead. Weird, so I proceeded to chat it. To my bewilderment, the little hand was no longer 'in sync' with the hour hand, as in, when the hour hand points to 4 o'clock sharp, for example, the little hands points to the 6 as a substitution for of 12. No topic how I try to turn it, the little and hour hands don't match. What's weird is that when I got this clock, it functioned impeccably fine. Last night, this malfunction occurred and I hadn't touched the clock since the daylight. I didn't manipulate with whatever thing other than the on/off batter.A additional thing; the markings between the hours are very difficult to use. There are 4 degrees in between an hour, so each hour is on bad terms into 12 little increments (0:00, 0:12, 0:24, 0:36, 0:48, 1:00). It's not that bad, as I don't need to be strict with my time, it's just weird. One more thing; broadcast say its silent, but it isn't. The ticking is very, very quiet, but there's still a ticking and I can see it from the other side of my bedroom. BUT, it's so quiet that you won't see it except you try to, so diminishing sleeping isn't a conundrum. The alarm isn't strict, as it goes off when the hour hand is in proximity. The bell is great, though, and everlastingly wakes me up in the few days that this clock was functioning. The alarm still works, by the way. This would have been my pet bedside clock. I hope to get a free substitution, if not a refund. I will bring up to date this assess and my rating if whatever thing changes.UPDATE: The peddler, Hitoseller, has been exceptionally open and caring in manufacture with manufactured goods issues and replacements. One of the very few sellers with passionate consumer help, would buy from them again. I reported the issue and they promptly responded for the substitution of my clock. Thank you!

I have a conundrum with wakefulness, and I just got a new clock radio, which, sorry to say, has a very soft alarm. So, I bought two aggressive looking twin bell alarm clocks, This one, and a Sharp SPC800 Quartz Analog Twin Bell Alarm Clock (Silver). I have used both, side by side, and they both work like a charm, LOUDLY. IN case you didn't notice, both run on a release AA battery, not full, which is great since winding up a clock is the last thing you want to do when you go to bed. Both are made in China, and they have akin, but not identical layouts in the back, signifying two uncommon manufacturers and works. This one has a neat red ribbon to help you retrieve the battery from its niche. Both have illumination, but they are of modest value except it is in the dead of night, with no other illumination. Any ambient light washes it out. Both are easy to set, and the background knob on both time and alarm spot go in any management (not automatically true in a blue-collar, wind-up clock.)My caveat is that there were color options with this clock, and I selected a white face; but I got the standard black face anyhow. Grating, but not enough to restore.

I pocket a nap soooooo relentlessly so I actually need an timer touchtone phone logic to shake me out of "cloud 13" in the mornings. This timer not release looks super cute, but it jolts me out of bed as I need it to! :) Awesome hold.

I am somewhat a gray sleeper at times so I chose this manufactured goods. It works! I factually jump out of bed but pun cause at times I crawl back, but I am soothe wide awake. There is one time that I set the timer telephone logic hand between 4 and 5 and timer went off at 330. so I set the timer telephone logic hand on 5, then it went off at the exact time...5. I think it was a tiny conundrum but it is definitly effective. I would so urge these clocks for gray sleepers and set the timer away from your bed. You'll get to jumping. Primarily if you know you have to work that day. Thankfulness HITO for your splendid benefit!

I am very pleased with this clock but really wish the night light could be kept on all night or that the hands and facts could be seen in the dark. Do not like having to raise up clock to turn on nite lite ever time I want to see the time.

Husband needed a timer that would wake the dead and it does. BRIGHT AND EARLY and obnoxious! LOL This is the timer to get on to if you are a deep sleeper. So joyful we got it.

It keeps good time, as I guess of a quartz crystal timer. The face is highly noticeable, and the ringer (bell) makes a lot of noise when it rings. I really needed that, because I do not hear the high frequencies put out by many additional electronic alarm clocks. The only annoyance is that the timer is slightly unstable, probably because the focal point of gravity is high because the two bells on top are moderately heavy compared to the otherwise light timer. As a consequence, if I bump the timer, like when I am trying to turn it off with reaching over from my bed, it may topple over. It is a 12-hour timer, and you can set the alarm for no longer yet to be than to some extent less than 12 hours, say not more than about 10 hours yet to be. The timer has a little button on the back that turns on a small light to light the face of the timer for as long as you hold the button.Except for the affect, the style of the face, and the fact that it has a pushbutton to light a small light bulb to elucidate the face, this timer is near identical to the Sharp SPC800 timer, also sold by Amazon.com.

I bought this item not only for the Extra Loud Alarm feature but for the "Quiet" feature of the tick. The other clocks that I have had would keep me up from the ticking of the second hand.

It tells time and is very loud. This Chinese-made fake clock is very flimsy, the knobs fall out into my hand and need putting back.I paid $22 for this by all accounts on money off. It must cost less than $5, and was indeed manufactured for a fraction of that.If you want to be over-exciting for a junky clock this is for you.
