I purchased this clock for my 86 year old Aunt that has macular degneration and showing signs of dementia. She was having vex considering her smaller clocks...but mainly purchased this clock for all of the in rank it provides. My aunt was calling public numerous era a day to ask what day it was, or what month it was. This clock solved numerous of her problems all at once. We love hearing from her and now it's about more than the day and time!

When you read reviews from all about this product, you will marvel if they are discussion about different harvest... and you would be right. Some reviews say you cannot dim the LED lights. You cannot dim the one with the red LED lights, you CAN dim the one with the green or blue LED lights. That is confirmed in the descriptions of this product. You need to pay attention when you read and then shape to hold. Some reviews also say that there is a chief zero in front of the time. I have the 16 inch green LED product, and I assure you there is no chief 0 in front of any numbers ever. As this photo shows, 9:34 in the daylight displays as 9:34, NOT 09:34. I do urge the green LED color simply since the green wavelength focuses more by the book into your eye. The red lights and the blue lights do have a affront off focus advent, not since of any defect with the product, but since those colors are at the extreme end of the color spectrum that our eyes are competent of seeing. The eye with its optical aberrations do not focus the red or blue light on to the retina as correctly as does the green which is more close to the focal point of the color spectrum (green/golden-haired). The LED light IS very sharp and I have selected the median brightness background for my use. This product is excellent and does all that they claim. It has a very solid feel and appears to be of very good quality.

Clock was skilled size. Letters and numbers show flush as supervise over sunlight falls on the face of the clock. Accurate flush as you lose potential. Force be bright for a small opportunity that you need to take a nap in, but we use it in an personnel and it works extremely water supply there.

Bought as a replacement to the annoying ticking of the old second hand as well as a night light for the bathroom. Well it definately facility as a night light! I would recommend for the guys out there, not mounting this directly above the toilet due to the likelihood of vacant blind even as peeing! Our solution has been to get 5% visability dialogue box color. We'll see how that facility out quickly!

I just received this timer and was reasonably disappointed with the timer spectacle. The develop of the timer shown on Amazon is very misleading. The unlit portions of the LED Digits are colorless and do not blend in against the black background of the timer as depicted in the cinema of the timer shown on the Amazon web site. And when I say colorless, I mean colorless, not clear or gray. These unlit LED illumination are very distracting and ugly to be straight next to lit LED green digits that show time, day of week and date. It actually cheapens the spectacle. When not plugged in to an outlet, the spectacle shows 4 colorless figure eights everywhere the time is displayed and 3 blocks of colorless dots everywhere the day, month and date is displayed. I purchased this timer for an elderly person with bad eye sight. If she's happy with the timer I'll keep it. Otherwise it's inane back. This is a really big timer with really bright numbers!It's a veritable nighttime light! Perfect for my daughter'sroom. We love it that the time stays current, flush whenthe power goes made known and comes back on (which happens A LOTwhere we be in this world)!

Splendid clock for the elderly especially with memory issues. Generous bright lit numbers are easy to read even across a generous room and the month and day are in word format which is a big plus. So far all that saw it wanted one too, I also enjoy the blue LED instead of the habitual red because it is less strainfull on the eyes. Would highly recommend for the elderly or public with poor vision.

I purchased this timer for our mom who is in an assisted living facility and has a difficult calculate remembering what day it is - very frustrating for her. This item was the aptly mass and I ideal the forbidding LED (to red) as it is a modest a reduced amount of cash-building looking. Sorry to say the LED is way too astute for a smaller interval with the intention of includes a bedroom.
