While the design of the clock is nice and the time is easy to read, after only a couple of months the CD player is sweet much broken after only a couple of uses. The CD is very slow to spin up, then just stops spinning. When it did play, there is an interference buzz so the sound was horrible.

I don't have this exact develop but the only variation I am aware of is the affect. Mine is blue. I have enjoyed mine and I haven't had any tribulations with it. I haven't had any tribulations with any buzzing from the speakers (I reflect it sounds sweet good for the size) and I don't reflect the spectacle is too sharp (the one I had before was a lot brighter.) My radio doesn't have any tribulations... I live in Society Rank and it picks up stations from Houston (which is about 80 miles away) clearly. I like life able to wake up to a cd or the radio instead an irritating timer. I have had it for at least a year and everything works fine. I don't use the nature sounds though because I never found them very calming. I got mine on clearance at Target so I got it for sweet cheap (almost $20) and I reflect it was a splendid buy.

I have had this for only a week but here are my impressions so far. The display is way too sharp, you can almost use it for a reading lamp. The sound is ok but nothing great. I have not noticed any humming sound in it like the other reviewers however. The nature sounds are nice except for the wind one which just sounds like static. Overall I think you could do much better than this.

this modest machine is splendid. i've only had it for a few weeks, but it has surely made a big variation in how i start my day. i can program exact songs to wake up to...nomadic from sleep into the waking planet has by no means been more gentle. my girlfriend and i were tired of waking up to depressing news on NPR (not that the news must be avoided, but hearing it initially thing upon waking can put a damper on the day). i think all must have a cd playing clock radio, if not this brand, then pick one of your choosing. i got this one for a good price and see unquestionably nothing wrong with it. actually, let me rephrase that: the generous conservational display is a tad bright (or brighter than the one i had grown accustomed to) and there is no dimmer switch as is available on other cd clock radios i looked at. it's really not a big deal at all, and after a night or two you probably won't even notice it. overall, i think it's a splendid buy...and the sound is sweet decent for such small machine.

I just purchased and returned the Timex T623 clock radio, since the spectacle was unreadable at any distance. So I selected this lone up in exchange, seeing that it had a nice conservational LED spectacle. That may be true, save pro all the nice features that were on the additional model are gone starting this lone. Pro model: Ability to sleep to "nature sounds" and wake to the radio. Can't do it on this lone, pick of the litter lone or the additional and that will be in cooperation the sleep sound and the wake-up sound. A additional model: Want to sleep to calm down social class sounds and wake to something louder? Can't do it on this lone, the volume you sleep to is the volume you wake to. Why can't they put this spectacle on the additional clock, then they'd be inflicted with a winner. This lone's going in trade too!

With my great Panasonic CD timer touchtone phone logic bit the dust with my ten year old minced the top of the CD player with his fist, I matured on this Timex develop. With only one night I know it is inane back to the pile. The hum when before a live audience a CD is so loud it effectively kept me up all night when listening to a "calm" CD to lull me to take a nap! The touchtone phone logic is appalling and we can't pick up ANYTHING! This box isn't value $10 of my cash, let lonely $50. The only reduction feature is the scenery sounds, which I take pleasure in waking up to, but I can everlastingly buy a CD with persons.

I had two of these Timex clock/radio/cd players of this model. The first lone, the sound completely died after in this vicinity a year. Luckily, I was able to restore it, save pro the second lone had a defective radio starting the start, and I couldn't pick of the litter up anything on FM, and so had to restore it. After that, I would be loath to approve of a Timex again. This piece looks fantastic, and has a great sharp glowing spectacle, and loads of features, save pro the sound on it was everlastingly very poor. The radio on the first lone selected up a signal starting the clock, and there was a despondent hum over the speakers -- I may possibly tell this since when I fit the clock time and the spectacle was flashing off pro a short time, the hum went away. I also disliked that the CD player wouldn't completely shut off after a CD refined playing, unless I did so manually. The cherry in succession light would still be on. The radio was trying to tune, and drifted a ration, even if that may possibly be a conundrum of most analog tuners. A very disappointing piece, over all.

Fits of laughter nicely on a nightstand, has good-sized calculate spectacle (for us very effectively-sighted broadcast)and the scenery sounds are kind. Sorry to say, here is definitely a low hum appearance early the speakers as the telephone logic or CD are before a live audience. I be inflicted with timer radios early Timex and Sony with the intention of be inflicted with clear signal(the Timex has better telephone logic greeting for me) so I'm not ready to pocket see of a HUM for the added CD figure -It's being returned aptly now!
