This works great. If you're looking to have approximately entertainment in the kitchen in the form of basic TV channels using the antenna, then this is great for you. It's slim and compact and looks pretty sharp. Philips is a good brand.

Don't waste your time and try on this cut of scrap. The user interface is a pathetic joke. You'll waste hours being paid the channels selected and programmed in just to have to redo your efforts a few days later. I've never atrophied so much time in my life with an electronic device as I have with this crap. The tuner isn't a QAM tuner, so it is not well-matched with cable tv at all. If you plug in your cable, it will be treated as an antenna, rather than decoding your cable signal. Very old technology, antique over the air antenna only tuner disquised with a cable connector. Horrible - buy one for somebody you want to torture. Customer service is a joke too. I've never posted a assess on amazon until now. Steer clear.

very dissappointing benefit....manufactured goods at home in a box that had been pre-opened and was beat up.....had someone install....only to find out that diffident and other hardware was not built-in....the companionship said they would replace with new one....however, when I returned it, they said they were out and just refunded my money.....now, we have to find another manufactured goods, AND, we paid someone to install, only to have to undo and restore

I had previously purchased a Phillips 7" TV and loved it. With about 5 being it broke so I replaced it with this version. Not only does this one not have a DVD player or AM radio but it is not well-matched with cable television. I called up Phillips frankly and they said the TV can only be used with an antenna. What a joke! I returned it the next day.

I purchased this piece and returned it the next day. The television and radio worked as probable. HOWEVER, the television did not pick of the litter up/program the cable stations. I establish this TV extremely tiresome to fit up. The channels do not bring about accurately. You cannot just put the channel in. I got the telephone system on the deal of the day but the tv doesnt work withcable or anttena, im very unsatisfied, the telephone system works ok the timer too, it looks good but the tv doesnt work with directv or cable so ill restore it.
